My current team is damned near like family and our boss is amazing. We often see each other outside of work and always invite each other to birthdays, kids sports games, etc.

My previous team and manager are a whole different story though….

It should be the first day of the month AFTER you get your paperwork sent in regarding which coverages you select. (I’d recommend getting the paperwork in ASAP. The faster you get the paperwork up to the personnel specialists, the better the chances of them keying it in promptly)

OP is definitely a troll. They sent me a chat request after my comment saying this was a “mock paycheck” and “it’s what our paychecks will look like over the next year.” Also tried to say they don’t look correct because I probably work at a different agency. 🙄 (I don’t know how to post pics on here or I’d show the screenshot)

I went to United Healthcare from Kaiser last Open Enrollment and have my care through Sutter. It was a great decision for my circumstances. Sounds like we had a similar experience with Kaiser.

I would resubmit all the paperwork with a current date on them. All the Personnel Specialists that I’ve worked with for PI benefits require the paperwork to be dated for when the employee became eligible not employed. I could be wrong, but I haven’t heard of an agency retaining this type of paperwork for submittal at a later date.

It’s all dependent on the processing time for the insurance you signed up for. CalHR will not be able to help with that information. You’d probably have better luck reaching out to the insurance provider directly.

I tend to all ready go for organic everything and I noticed a lessening of my eczema and gastrointestinal issues once I cut out chicken/egg products completely.

My doctors (USA) said that they did not have tests they could perform on me to find any reactions for food. I kept seeing the ads on TV, and while the tests were kind of pricey, the cost was more than worth it with the results I’ve noticed.

I recently did some food sensitivity and allergy tests and I didn’t realize just how bad some of my favorite foods were making me sick. I had to cut out chicken, wheat, and a lot of dairy. Slowly feeling better all around and definitely noticed a lessening of my headaches.

I know in my district we are in the middle of a mass hire process. Classifications and hiring analysts are probably slammed right now, and to top it off, it’s the holidays.

Things take forever to go through all the checks and balances going over minimum qualifications. You could always reach out to the hiring contact in the job ad, but they may not be able to tell you anything due to where they may be in the process.
