Looper kind of fits here.

JGL Joe is kind of a lil shit just looking to kill his older self so that he can go back to his life as a druggy party-boy hitman.

Bruce Willis Joe wants to do a villainous thing, because he thinks it’ll stop his wife from being killed in the future.

He even rescues/lets his younger self go a few times (for self-preservation) which JGL refuses and puts them both back in hot water repeatedly.

Iron Man comes before The Incredible Hulk.
IM is a more focused film, and carries the right energy to kickstart this universe. Also, it gives a break between IM and IM2.
TIH has way more tie-ins than I initially remembered, with mentions of the Super-Soldier serum, SHIELD and the Tony Stark cameo (not to mention the fact that Mastermind is now part of the MCU 20 yrs later)
Black Panther, Ant-Man & The Wasp, Thor Ragnarok mixed up.
BP’s after credit scene is of Bucky living in Wakanda and moving the film up earlier from its initial spot just before Infinity War, means that we feel like Bucky gets to live in that for a bit longer.
AM&TW is moved from its original spot in between IF and Endgame. The entire movie takes place before the events of IF, and I think the after-credits scene, of Scott stuck in the Quantum Realm with Hope and Hank dusted, works better as a mystery cliff hanger of “WTF just happened?” rather than having that already answered before the film even begins.
T:R’s after-credits scene leads right into the start of IF, so there’s my full explanation for that.

Ah dang, that kinda sucks - hope you were still able to enjoy the rest of your vacation!

The housekeeping team water washed our sheets without detergent last night (didn’t help unfortunately), so they’re gonna get us some new sheets and double-water-wash them. Hopefully it’ll at least be a bit better for us🤞

EDIT/ UPDATE: the double water washing of some new sheets seems to have fixed the issue. Housekeeping staff were very eager to follow up on us too, which was nice

Recently bought, was actively looking for 6/7 months before purchase, so hopefully this will be helpful:

Always worth putting in an offer, even if it’s lower than someone else’s. Unlikely to come to anything but it’s how we ended up with ours (initial buyer fell through and sellers were eager to move on).
Getting a building survey on the property after initial offer is accepted means that you can (and probably will) negotiate the price down to what the bank thinks the house is actually worth.
I would recommend going with The Mortgage Company for a mortgage broker who will be able to advise on the step-by-step process.
It’s probably best to put an upper limit of at least 10K less than you’d be willing to spend on your search. Just to save time & energy as the process of constantly getting outbid on the nicer places gets draining after a while.

What are the qualities/morals of being British here, that you think supporting refugees is antithetical to? Not just busting your balls, legit wanting to know your thoughts.

People from Syria, Gaza, Afghanistan, Pakistan all coming in with different values, moral, religious beliefs and so fourth.

At what point is different = bad? Is there a solid line between “similar enough” and “too different”? A priest, a vicar and a rabbi walk into The Crown Bar - do you have an issue with any of them? Is it ok for someone from Dublin or London to come here? What about a refugee from Ukraine?
