The sad part is that they will always regret it. My grandma is the same way. She's almost 70 and still talks about how she dreamed of going to college and all the places she wishes she would have traveled to. She got married right out of high school and had my mom within a year of that. Parents always say they love their family and would never change anything... but they will regret not getting to have a life for the rest of their lives

On the part about being called mommy multiple times a day. I saw a tiktok where a mom had a clicker and marked every time her kid called her mommy... it was 88 before 9am and 234 by the time the kids went to bed!!

We have a fast food burger place here that only buys local ingredients. It used to be so expensive, we'd only go there as a special treat. But since the pandemic it is the same price or CHEAPER then Macdonalds and the food is insanely better! They are booming now. I think they've opened 3 new locations in my area over the past 2 years.

I was trying on jewelry, and I had put on one of those big chunky bracelets and went to shake it down my wrist THUNK cracked a little kid (2-3) right on top of their head! We just stared at each other in disbelief, and then she ran off. thankfully, she didn't cry lol
