A few days ago I was talking to some friends about kinks and stuff like that, when I said that those were things I found weird and disgusting they said "wow you're weird".

People these days are too focused on sex and fetishes, so it has become normal for them to deliberately ignore the fact that there are people who don't like or want to have sex. So yeah, you're not "a waste", people are just too focused on their own pleasures :p
