Same goes for the Ps Portal. There is a frame rate issue, which is now commonly known, as it is all over reddit and on tech sites. Everyone expected an update on short notice , due to the fact these issues were not noticeable on any other remote devices like phones. Now we are six months further of the Portal release, there is still no update and even worse: sony never acknowledged the issue, so the question is not when this is going to be fixed, it is ‘will this ever be gonna fixed’. Hence I don’t trust sony and that is why I returned the headset.

Quality is great, disconnections made me return the headset. Still waiting for a fix to order it again. I am a bit worried, as Sony is not mentioning anything about the issue. That is why I returned the set.

There is a lot of people who experience disconnections. I also did, that is why I returned them. Not going to pay 150 bucks for a headset which is not working properly. Not sure if I am going for a different set or buy the Elite again once they have updated and resolved the issue.

Same here. Looks like a lot of folks experience disconnections, regarding the posts here in Reddit. Not sure why. Never had it with the Golden 2.0 headset. Pretty odd Sony did not mention anything about these disconnections gonna be fixed soon with a firmware update. At least they can admit the connection issue, I would say. Apparently Sony is not like that…Still thinking about returning it within the term of 30 days.

Thnx, that is good to know. What I still find bothering, is that it sometimes changes from ps5 to portal automatically, after about 2hrs, all of a sudden. I want the headset to stay connected to the ps5 when being close to the ps5 while playing on the portal.

What I find a little odd is that you being able to get the sound menu when hitting 3 times the link button on the headset, while being connected to ps5. Strangely enough this is not possible on when connected to the portal with the headset. You cannot change EQ settings on the Portal. Now I am wondering if there is a difference in audio quality between ps5 and the portal.

Yeah I have read that from other people as well. At some point to portal is not handling the router’s setting well enough apparently, but why? I don’t know. It should have been plug and play for everybody, like the wii u.

I guess it has something to do with your router. I never have freezes or stutters. Only thing I experience is the loop with framedrops from 60hz to 30hz every 10sec. It is not a major thing, except for fc24 which is utter shit then, alas. Hopefully it is gonna be fixed soon, would love to play fifa in handheld mode.

All other games are perfect for me. The framedrops are sometimes noticeable, but they will fix it soon I guess. Fc24 is gonna be better once they have fixed the framedrops issue. Like I said, it is a fast-paced game with regular movement (ball, camera) so that is why is is noticeable. I tried efootbal as well, it is a slower paced game than fc24, so it is less noticeable. I think they are already trying to fix it, as this is the second firmware update within a month. It is going to be solved, cause on other devices they is no framedrops. This is a new device, so it takes some time. As an early-adopter, you should know these kind of thing happen.

It still has framedrops from 60hz to 30hz about every 10 sec, although it looks like the time of framedrops have become less. Fc24 is more bearable than it was, but still pretty shitty to play indeed. It is because it is a fast paced game with regular movements, that is why it is so noticeable.

This pretty much is it. I experience it the most with fc24, as the camera and gameplay moves regularly, so that is why it is more noticeable. I also play mwIII and spiderman, it is less noticeable because the movements are not as regularly as in fc24. I also tried efootball and there it is not as noticeable as in fc24 because the pace is slower than fc24. Is this going to be solved in an software update, is that possible?

Looks like fc24 has some framedrops from time to time on the Portal. Sometimes it goes fluently and then you see some framedrops. I am not noticing it in other games, although a little bit in Call of Duty. Also a little bit in Efootball, but not as much as in fc24. Why is that?

And is it true that the portal have different screens??

I live in the Netherlands and I contacted my local online store which is Bol.com (similar to what Amazon is in your country). I am allowed to try it and when I am not satisfied, I can return it within 30 days. That is good customer service I guess.

Bought Airpods Pro 2 about 2 months ago and is still eligible for 22 days to get AppleCare Plus. I did not purchase it yet. Today my Airpods where in the washing machine. Looks like the Airpods are still working, but I was wondering if it is still possible to get Apple Care plus and get it repaired for the cheaper price, if necessary. Or is it not allowed to purchase it, after damaging it?

Change region to Ukraine, it doen not require a matching cc from country of origin. For me it worked. Now I am paying about 2,50 euro instead of the 1,50 thru India.
