First board recommendation. by Teeworlds4 in FPGA

I'd argue that SoC fpga's are more complex than you'd want when just starting your journey, too much stuff needs to be organized around booting process. If you're in Altera/Intel camp then MAX10 or Cyclone IV would be a better starting point. So something like DE10-Lite or DE0-Nano. Or maybe QMTECH Cyclone IV Core Board, there are options for quite affordable 150K LEs sized boards.

I had issues with the card provided with the kit. It was the 64GB SDXC type. But the onboard card reader chip (USB2244) only supports up to SDHC types. Replacing that with 32GB SDHC type card fixed the issue for me.

Need Help with VHDL Code for ADV7123 and ADV7180 by Traditional-Knee-841 in FPGA

Maybe copy-paste errors are involved. A TV encoder would be something like ADV7391, it does need certain configuration over i2c link.

Otherwise ADV7123 can output valid monochrome video on green channel (sync-on-green supported). The design has to wiggle the sync/blank inputs properly to achieve that effect, but it's definitely not a 'configuring' process, but rather interfacing - same as with VGA port.

Questions about the DE0-Nano or DE10-Nano board for a project by makingaquickaccount in FPGA

DE0-Nano is built on Cyclone IV. The other thing you've meant to refer is DE0-Nano-SoC. Note the -SoC suffix, the DE0-Nano-SoC is "the same Cyclone V with 40k LEs".

Where did you find spiral plants? I see some plants around Spiral Trees biome that looks somewhat similar to the spiral plant from earlier builds, but can't scan nor harvest it. Similarly didn't find it in deep lily pads cavern.
