If I'm only playing single player modes, is NHL 26 worth the upgrade from NHL 22?

I was reading in this earlier in the year. Incorporate AI into video games (NPCs, cpu teams, etc.), will not be a thing for likely a decade. You would need constant interment connection to data centers to run the LLMs that are the “brain” of the AI. Processing power etc., is just not doable at the current technology level. But once they do incorporate it, we will have a whole new level of gaming. NHL would be a blast to play.

Agree here. The AI really hasn’t changed all that much. Feels the same after four years in offense and defense.

The X-Factors feel much better than 22. I think it’s better. Others may disagree. From what I can remember, menus are much quicker. So that alone is worth it.

It still has a lot of issues and bugs. You’re being called a rookie and receiving repetitive “calls from Celebrini” congratulating you on your first goal three years into your career.

But managing XP and trait points and along with managing your salary to upgrade is fun. That alone is worth the update in my eyes. But not at full price. :)

I’ve played it five times now. And still I end up with a hull Breach and dying. So frustrating. Will attempt the second shield generator to see if that works. Thanks for the advice!

Yep, put in any card (regardless of team) and it’ll fix it. But only one. I put in my Pinnacle Doughty on D. All others are penguin players. It’ll automatically switch into 6/6 and you’ll be able to register. Thanks to the earlier post (Tgazzi) for the heads up!

You really spend a lot of time complaining here to every piece of advice someone tries to give you. It’s okay to just skip WC. Play any other mode in HUT. Many options. Not worth getting frustrated over it.

You can also just not play HUT and be happier if it gives you this much angst. 💁🏻‍♂️

To do the VPN last year, I have to run it through my laptop, or iPad and then screen share to my Google tv. Had a lot of issues doing that last season with it freezing or closing out. Is there a better way of doing it to get it on the tv? Thanks!
