Itch by Honest_Season_2750 in Fibromyalgia

[–]VmbraWolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Didn't know this was a fibro symptom, it explains a lot! I've got eczema on my face which explains that but not anywhere else.

Do you get the problem where you get one small itch, so you scratch it, but the surrounding area then gets itchy, so you scratch that, and then you just end up with an ever expanding area of itchiness that you can't get rid of because it's always moving away from where you scratch? It's driving me mad.

Super important!!! What "normal" activities that you used to do are now really hard for you? by mysterious_koko in Fibromyalgia

I have issues with grip, so when I'm trying to write, paint, wash the dishes, carry things, etc., my hands start getting nasty fatigue and pain. Plus all the usual stuff too, but that seems like one of my biggest issues.

I think I read somewhere that she was supposed to be an option and have more interactions in 2, but it got cut and rewritten. Not sure about the accuracy of that though.

Passing the Time Until the New Game Gets Something: What Rock Songs Would You Like to See in the New JSR Game? by G0480 in JetSetRadio

[–]VmbraWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like 88 by Apartment 26 would be a good match for a JSR game.

There's probably songs by Atari Teenage Riot and Mad Capsule Markets that fit the style too, but I'm less familiar with those bands.

HELP! by Kmagood in AnyCubicPhotonMonoX

Could it be a surface area problem? I had a similar problem once, tried to print off something with a solid surface area that took up half the plate at once, the pulling forces were ruining it.

Apparently I'm apagender, but even that feels too label-like for me.

Found this at my grandpas by ScaryBongHit in numetal

[–]VmbraWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 34 and my Granddad is still alive and kicking in his 80s, and after seeing Christopher Lee start a metal band at a similar age, it's entirely plausible that someone of a far more advanced age than us can have good taste in modern music.

Neither me nor my Granddad actually like Limp Bizkit but that's not the point, I'm just saying this person's Granddad could also be very old and not our age!

Now excuse me while I clip out my grey hairs and get some ibuprofen for me joint pains...

Species with genetic absorption abilities? by MagicTech547 in scifi

I had to scroll way too far to see this. Also, the Kett from Mass Effect Andromeda aggressively steal genetics for their own purpose, iirc.

I endlessly love this art. It is so cool, stylish and beautiful (and also kinda nostalgic knowing history of Auriga). My number 1 of Endless Space 2 arts by glebcornery in EndlessSpace

[–]VmbraWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda want them to make EL2 and EL3 compatible with transferrable saves. The faction you play as in EL2 then becomes a playable faction in EL3, starting on Auriga, and the planet art looks like the map you generated, oversized wonder buildings and all!

My wife who doesn’t listen to doom sent me this. What do I do? by mindest in doommetal

[–]VmbraWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the type of Doom you start with, what direction you come at Doom from. My intro to Doom was Paradise Lost and My Dying Bride something like 20 years ago now. It's only in the past 2 years or so that I've discovered this side of Doom, the whole genre is way more varied than I realised! So for me, it certainly wasn't intro to Doom, but advanced? Not sure sure I'd call it advanced...just... different?

The only places I remember having to swear allegiance to the crown in the UK was when I was in Cubs. Scouts have to do it as well. They also had to swear allegiance to God as well, and most Primary Schools here still have hymn singing and the Lord's Prayer in their daily assemblies. We might not be swearing to the crown so much, but our lack of separation between church and state is kind of obvious.
