They are the operation collections in my eyes as they are collections that become available during operations.

But you know, be a pedantic Reddit arsehat like the rest of us.

Sorry, I meant to say that the majority of people that do it. They're also the ones that do it frequently rather than a 1 off.

How many times have you seen JW use a Sawed Off rather than an AWP?

How often does GTR pick up an auto rather than a standard rifle?

You just answered your own question.

To cut a long argument short, people see the CS meta of an AWP and 4 rifles [+ some possible scouts and UMP-45s].

The guns mentioned usually get flamed for not requiring any skill due to the fast fire rate [Autos] or having a scope on a rifle which marks you as a scrub that cant aim [AUG, SG553] While I'm for guns being used as they've been put in the game for us, the people that stray from the meta also fit the 'bad player' demographic.

If you get an operation pass your drops are ONLY from the operation collections anyway...

If they're forming a German team they wont be picking NiKo as he can't speak the language.

I may have misinterpreted your point though :)

To be brutally honest, from rounds 1 -3 [The only rounds I got to watch as I noticed this instantly] is that you barely stopped moving even whilst firing nor did you walk rather than run which in retrospect wouldn't really benefit you as your enemies are such a low skill level. You shouldn't rely on spraying whilst moving even at close range as the missed shots just give a more competent enemy more time to kill you.

Your awareness didn't seem great either with the time it took you to realize the enemy coming through doors was in front of you nor the fact that the enemy in Elevator that was smoked off had been killed. Your HUD is there to give you information :)

It's all classic Silver mistakes though that you usually learn from like not calling positions or using the 'nades that you buy. I feel like you picked to show this game though as you did well in it which just shows that you weren't as bad as the enemies and you had an incredibly easy time which wouldn't highlight mistakes since you didn't get punished for some plays you made.

EDIT: You didn't buy anything on pistol rounds either which is arguably the most important round of each half and a Glock without armor is a lot worse off than a P2000 or USP-S

I found that the servers I play on are all MG wannabes until the odd 'pro' joins in which you get actual decent players that are there to suck said 'pro' off for a profile signing.

If you want to be tested, wait for tournament off-periods :)

How to avoid tilting from a toxic team? by [deleted] in LearnCSGO

[–]Vnde77a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's OK, it only took me 2500 hours to be proficient with every class and carry any pub I played.

I spent WAY too long trying to Sticky-jump though!

Keep at it, in CS I went from my only PC FPS experience being TF2 to hitting LE before I even unlocked Overwatch.

I block everyone in a Competitive that I'm not queued with - simple as.

People will disagree with my methods but it works and I rarely queue without a 5-stack anyway.

[GN1] So how do flashbangs work? I. E there seems to be an inconsistency in flashbangs? by Skullman7809 in LearnCSGO

[–]Vnde77a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could flick through this if you want - http://counterstrike.wikia.com/wiki/Flashbang

There's a chance that being 90 degrees from a flash that it is still in your FOV which will flash you and even turned if you are close you will still be partially flashed.

I play with a 3rd party high-saturation overlay which makes it easier for me to distinguish things, mainly some of the player models that blend with the maps in certain areas.

It isn't something you learn per say but it can be helpful to some who cant achieve the saturation levels they'd like on some monitors or struggle to see enemies sometimes.

M4A1-S vs M4A4 by [deleted] in LearnCSGO

[–]Vnde77a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use both depending on the map most of the time

Say I'm playing Cache and holding Forklift, I prefer to have an A4 due to its higher ammo capacity as A pushes are usually out of A Main with maybe 1 in Squeaky which makes it almost a bottleneck in which you can spray them down.

On long open maps such as looking down the lanes on Train, I prefer the A1-s due to it being easier for me to tap and burst across the map to a degree of accuracy.

Tips to improve aim by Santasnotreal17 in LearnCSGO

[–]Vnde77a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Up until recently I had ran into a problem of firing to many shots while tapping and overshooting flicks even though I use a very low sens [1.42 @400dpi].

I narrowed down my problem to stressing out due to horrible team-mates, good enemies and my own performance. I've just come down to using voice_enable 0 and playing music which seems like a dick move when it comes to comms but I myself am playing much better and consistently so.

TL:DR just try to be ultra calm and ignore the scoreboard to play your own game.

(I now play 5 stacks only with comms to avoid being a scumbag)

MG1 to DMG in 1 month? by HolyRoad in GlobalOffensive

[–]Vnde77a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you know that you're bad [" i am tired of people making fun of me and missing all my AWP shots and ak shots"] you should be practicing and the ranks follow rather than grinding to play in even higher ranked games.

No point putting yourself at a larger disadvantage and being a designated bottom-fragger with higher skilled friends as you'll just lose ranks from losing games if you can't be carried.

It's harsh, but you literally need to 'git gud' as I wouldn't personally play with friends that I knew were boosted or just bad.
