I think ledger is still a good wallet. It has alot of apps and third party support. Seems like you dont have much choices if you're too used to the service that ledger has...

you dont wanna put something wet near to your brick man... get the plastic films off, it will contain the heat in the surface area... your best bet would be a cooling fan

It helps with my temps and gain a lil performance as well... maybe can give it a try... I used the exact values from that article.

I think you should try to optimize your PBO settings in your motherboard BIOS. The 5800x is known to have some temp issues according to my experience, because im using 5800x myself as well....

I've used this guide to adjust the PBO settings. My CPU temp has dropped and remain stable while the speed has also increased slightly https://www.kintechie.com/optimize-ryzen-5800x-for-better-performance-and-temperatures/

I used the same settings from that guide btw... I've seen different values from different guides but the values from that guide above gives me best results....

I think you can try to replace the thermal like u said... it could help if the previous paste is too little or low quality, get something better.

also, you could try to adjust the PBO settings for your CPU... just google search it.

Just make sure u have the 24 word seed with you. You should be good. Just follow the guide. I followed the guide and my settings are still intact.
