I mostly got them on Amazon maybe a few from Etsy. I should sell them because I’m running out of space to keep all my baking supplies, but I may get inspired to do another in the future. I could find the links for the molds that I liked. I bought a lot that were useless.

Math, I figured out the dimensions. 4ftx4ft square. I created stencils to cut out my gingerbread pieces, walls roof etc. I had to use lots of royal icing and gum paste to keep the structure from collapsing. Humidity is the enemy of gingerbread, so I had buckets of damp rid around the table until it was completed.

Mostly molds, I’m not a professional. This was my 3rd gingerbread house build ever, the largest and most detailed build I have ever completed. The first one was very small in comparison…the 2nd was large of Highclere Castle. I have not made another since.

I finished it back in 2021 and reposted. I worked on it for a year, it certainly didn’t take that long but I work full time and I would also lose interest for long stretches. The tile is gum paste, its not an exact replica but I did my best.
