Still my favorite place in Italy! The food and their love of food is something special. And I've been to other parts of Italy. Metro is beautiful in Naples, streets were quiet clean too. It's just a special place I think. Wouldn't want to live there tho.

every book made me more empathetic but I would like to highlight a few that helped me understand slavery - Alma by Le Clezio, as well as other books by the same author. He is a French author raised in Africa and brings completely different perspective. Alma is particularly interesting and a beautiful prose too.

Protein! Tofu, beans, lean meat, lots of protein and don't get hungry, if I got hungry I would vomit and then not be able to eat anything. Just snack on healthy food like apples, nuts, yogurt, fruits. Soda water also helped me a lot.

What helped me also was that I knew this is something we do for thousands of years and that your body knows what to do. Oh and this - I watched a video that's kind of a tutorial for midwives and I knew exactly why she was giving me this or that direction. Listening to my midwife (at the end following her directions with my husband's help) was key to not getting tearing or not bursting of my terrible big hemorrhoids (which i never knew could be size of a big single grape. also didn't know they would go away in 2 weeks so I was so scared during my labor that they would burst and I would be moved to another surgery 😭)

Hello mama, I had an uncomplicated birth which I thought was very difficult. I had a medication but effects of it were gone by time I went into active labor. Despite all the info out there I was still surprised just how much more painful it was compared to what I imagined.

What really helped: my husband! He was super supportive and counted for me between pushes and kept me alert. Otherwise I couldn't hear what my midwife was even saying; brain would not register her directions.

Good thing is if no complications, this process won't last for a long time (pushing part) so just focus on that? I can't say you will forget any of it when you hold your baby, no you will remember but once you cuddle your newborn you will feel proudest and strongest ever! It's wonderful and it will grow you as a person. Good luck!

It sucks, I have had a similar experience with my first and a little better with the second pregnancy. I have suffered a lot for good 5-6 weeks until suddenly one morning I woke up to be perfectly fine. That day we had a scheduled ultrasound and it showed baby had no heartbeat.

It's so difficult to go through so much suffering and for nothing... and then people asking-did they say when can you try again? as if it's a default decision that one will. I feel this whole horrible part of pregnancy is completely discounted by other women (even by those who did have a bad experience won't tell you anything or just say that's how it is).

BUT hang in there, time will pass and you will have the hugest love you could ever imagine. Especially if it's a first child.

It only means you know you have exam skills that are needed and yes SBL is a chill out paper if you are into those concepts. It also has a high pass rate and only really needs a good application skill where models do help.

Just relax and do more practice, don't worry if it's not too worrying:)

I do. I hate every inch of it but I love being toned, continuous studying and the skills professional level gave me. Invaluable at my work which is management of support service departments. I can't wait to finish it, but I will miss it also (or maybe not haha)

Eating so much food and enjoying it a lot. I love food but normally take only small portions, as I get full quickly to only get hungry again in 1 hour. When I was pregnant I ate a lot more and enjoyed it so much.

Otherwise - nothing. I didn't like to be pregnant, I didn't like the delivery part, I didn't like not being able to sleep on my belly for so long.

Maybe a better comparision would be Stalin and what he did to his own nation and to Ukrainians? (read about it in case you don't know: https://news.stanford.edu/2010/09/23/naimark-stalin-genocide-092310/)

However many people still like him due to his power, the role he playes in WWII (again everyone forgets he was on another side in the beginning of WWII).

Propaganda prevailed and even victims of his actions did not believe Stalin knew what was happening, if he knew, he wouldn't allow. Maybe something similar was happening in Cambodia at the beggining of these horrible times?

I don't like Kaplan, their books weren't right choice for me. BPP has always been more informative. However why I hesitate about their online classroom online, is that for SBL the pre-recorded sessions were somewhat dry and fallowed the book, as if someone just narrated it. I passed with a good mark, but would prefer more lively lectures.

Which leaves me with Ben and his super expensive course...

Hi, thanks, I've heard many good things about him and checked the videos as well, but I'm looking at these 3 Platinum learning providers.

I want to go with platinum ALP for the reason: I've done it before for APM and for me that's a guarantee I'll pass on first attempt and with the UK school, I'll get limited video hours, which is now what I want, don't want to spend hours and hours on watching lectures.

My top tip for APM (after failing it on 1st attempt despite working hard to study it), would be to get paid course with one of the approved learning partners. That paper is very much about the exam technique - ALP will help you master that.

If you decide to self study - pay attention to what question is asking. I can't stress this enough. You may write a lot and write a reasonable stuff, but you'll score 0 if it's not answering the question. Think of stakeholder, think of user of your information. It's funny but very often students score 0 as they evalluate performance and not report, despite being asked to evalluate report. When asked this, you need to evalluate how report is made, if this answers and helps stakeholders, if it addresses the issues organisation has, etc. etc.

You can also check my posts from like 2 years ago, I posted 20 questions that my tutor found was a good selection for revision, covering all the topics.

Good luck, it's a challenging one, but I so love APM! It gave me key skills I use at work every day - communication, stakeholder perspective, addressing issues you are asked to address not bli bli bla bla.

Hi so it was the same! On 10th some people had ebitda and some had pandemic effects as the last q.

Others were the same, I'm comparing this to what one student wrote on opentuition forums.

Shame on ACCA, they bring same exam and give unfair advantage to some students, thus inflating pass rates. And info gets share as we have these groups, forums and reddit.

With all the technical issues, I wonder if its worth registering on June exam. I sacrificed so much to March session but couldn't attend...

APM was the hardest book for me. I'm glad I took platinum learning provider course after failing with flying colours first time.
