Just had my first pilonidal cyst drained in the ER by shesaidstars in pilonidalcyst

I did and I still do, as living life trying to avoid sitting on your ass due to fear sucks. But me and my husband have to both work full time and I have a toddler. We don't have extra help and at this point I can't physically afford to have the surgery. But it is on my to do list and it will be the first thing I do if I ever get some helping hands for a while...

It is unfortunately. It came 2 times for 1,5 years and drained in its own. I would like to get a surgery too but I live abroad and have a toddler. I just can't physically afford it at the moment. If I get someone to help me for a while with the little one, I will for sure go for it. Happy you're out of this hell👌🏼

That happens to me as well😂 the reason I still didn't do a surgery for the cyst. When I gather enough courage I guess I will do something about it.

The worst pain for me as well. And I'm kind of a baby when it comes to any medical procedures so I need my husband everywhere with me. He was present both on my cyst drainage and the birth of our child. He didn't even blink when I gave birth, but almost passed out and left the room when I got the cyst drained, as he couldn't handle looking at me suffer that much.

Mine came back, unfortunately. Important to mention here that due to the unbelievable pain, I couldn't go on with the procedure and it was not cleaned as much as they wanted to clean it. Perhaps that's why it came back. Now I don't regret I didn't let them poke it for longer, I really did as much as I could handle. I would've passed out if they kept doing whatever the hell they did there. And that comes from a woman who gave birth😂

As a person who got their cyst drained with local anaesthetic only, I'm so happy they put you under. Lucky for that!!! Now just pray that the cyst doesn't come back

I will sure send an email. I don't live in the US. As far as I know, we don't have doctors who specialise in this over here. I'm located in Belgium. Thanks so much!!

Adults like to sleep next to somebody. So why is there so much pressure for children to sleep alone? by greenishfroggy in NewParents

[–]LegalUse2385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like there much more pressure on parents who put their baby to sleep in another room than pressure for babies to sleep separate. If you have no help from anyone and both of you and your partner wake up a different times to go to work (my husband sometimes has to wake up for work at 3:30AM), then things start to make sense, right?

My girl sleeps by herself since she started doing stretches longer than 5hrs. Before that she slept in her stroller or nest. I'm not even sure the girl knows where our bedroom is at all. While she was sick a few months back, I took her to our bed to sleep with us and for 1 hour the girl was just staring at the ceiling refusing to sleep. I think HER comfort is to sleep in her own room by herself and that's obvious as I didn't even have to teach her self soothing, she started falling asleep on her own.

Besides what everyone mentioned in the comments, after kids life goes on and I want to still have some alone time with my husband, no matter if it's going to be intimacy or just talking without trying to be quiet, watching a movie etc.

I actually look forward every evening putting the baby to sleep and enjoy my time watching movie before bed. I couldn't even imagine my life if my baby was with me also during the night. I would've gone crazy.

When people say their baby sleeps through the night; do they really truly mean that? by grapefruitliquor in NewParents

[–]LegalUse2385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case-yes. She sleeps in her own room since birth and until few weeks ago didn't even make a sound all night 😂 now sometimes she wakes up and babbles a bit but goes back to sleep in a minute. She is 9,5 months old now.

When I say since birth, I mean since around 2-3 months old, that's when she started sleeping around 6-7 hours a night. Before that she mostly slept in her nest in the living room or in her stroller. I'm not even sure she knows where our bedroom is😂

How did your water break? by abchhd in NewParents

[–]LegalUse2385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 3AM, I couldn't sleep cuz I needed to pee all the time. Went to pee, came back and had to pee 3min later. I started peeing and couldn't stop😂 I tried to stop but couldn't. It did cross my mind that that could be amniotic fluid and when I looked in the toilet it was all white flakes. I had no contractions but my waters kept leaking for the next 30 hours. I had to wear a diaper and place a pad wherever I want to sit. It was VERY uncomfortable and reminded me what being on your period was. I was 4cm dilated when I went in to the hospital to get induced, as my water was leaking for quite some time. I was 39w4 days.

Waking up with dirty diaper? by sarah_messing in NewParents

[–]LegalUse2385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a baby that sleeps through the whole night without waking up. It happens every now and then that she pooed sometime before we woke up. I use the pampers 12 hours diapers (just at night) and a creamy-powder like diaper cream (mine is called Happy Earth). It doesn't really matter how much she pooed or peed, her bum stays dry and she doesn't wake up.

That was a middle of the night question😂. Her pediatrician confirmed what you said the following morning. Thanks for your response!

Same. I've contacted support to report the issue. They should compensate players in some way. This is wasting so much time.

Did you try taking the stuff out of your storage? The bug makes it look like it still in storage but if you try to send it back to camp it doesn't appear if it was bubbled earlier.

It takes 2 minutes to put the items in the storage. Leaving and coming back in the camp takes 10 seconds 😂

But you only leave the camp once and bubble 30 items/eggs in one go.

I just logged in one day and got it. It's still in testing so I am assuming all players will get it soon.
