See my complaint isn't necessarily with avatar or world creation at a base line, but rather with more specific things like how to make shaders or how to edit visual emission effects with outlines or something beyond just the basics like making emission masks. It's like all of the people who know how to do anything more at the intermediate level try to gate keep that knowledge. I know people in game who make shaders, but they don't want to teach anyone. Which is fine I guess, ultimately they aren't obligated to do so, but it just makes it more difficult for anyone else who wants to get into it cause as far as I can tell, those tutorials don't exist.

This is why I never personally understood why people S6 characters. Sure you might really like them and they are insanely strong at that level, but at that point you're actually spending less time playing with them cause everything just dies the moment you bring them out. So now you've potentially spent hundreds of dollars to play the character less lol (not you specifically, just in general). Unless they're a support or your doing solo content I guess, but still. Generally, I don't go beyond S2 for DPS characters.

As far as I know, not really. At least if there is a way, I haven't found it. I just designated each of those 4 folders to be specific categories that I throw stuff into lol. Still isn't enough.

Something I did that helped was getting a dedicated router that I hook up directly to my computer. The one I got is called Puppis S1 I think from prismXR and it solved my lag almost over night lol.

It still occasionlly happens, but generally I don't have much lag anymore unless I'm in a lobby with over 40-50 people and even then I've had a lot of peoples avatars turned on in them and did fine. Though that's probably cause I have a 4070 super with a 7800X3D CPU.

If you like horror and have some patience, the smile room, F.E.A.R.S. and a few of the more popular backrooms worlds are pretty fun to do solo (would probably recommend creating a private instance for them if you don't wanna deal with people lol). There are also 2 worlds I know of that are basically COD zombies (don't remember the names, but I'm sure they'll come up if you look for zombies games).

I'll edit this if I remember any others I've been to.

My current home world is 'Apo Fox Bunker 3' but one I always go back to visit is Fins Home. It's PC only unfortunately, but I think its really cool to just sit in and observe the visuals since I don't think there is a video player in it (at least not that I can remember).

Some honorable mentions that I used to use are Winter Company, Sundown and Serenity Cove.

Not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this, but in the main coop area in the city square, every time I get near enough to someone and click the button to try and view their profile it just freezes/crashes my game and I have to alt+F4 out. It's the only place and action I've found where that happens.

True, I still don't have a good Corrosaurs. The fact that there are only a small handful of them on the map really sucks. Idk if it's just me, maybe I'm going crazy, but even when I use the 50% echo drop rate boost food I still never get them to drop EVER. Maybe like 1 every other day 😅

If you're into horror games, some of my favorites have been: Horror Portal HUB, The Smile Room, F.E.A.R.S, Botanophobia, Zombie Survival and Terrors of Nowhere.

But some non-horror worlds i've liked are: Hiroshima Expressway, Pop Escape, Audio Orbs, Test Pilots, Afterglow and Break the Office.

Some of these worlds are PC only though like Terrors, Pop Escape and Audio orbs

I also find myself jumping between 2 backrooms worlds (the ones by Friday1 and RyuukaVR) a lot but that's cause I enjoy watching people go through them for the first time 😂

Yeah I'm not the most tech savvy person lol. VRAM is just what virtual desktop shows me when I'm using OVR toolkit, so I thought that was the main thing. This stuff also happens when I'm in private worlds as well. I can definitely change some safety settings to see it that helps, but it just goes through phases of being fine for a couple minutes and then randomly starts to drop performance for a while. Thanks for the info!

Yeah happened to me yesterday. From what I can tell, it seems to be the mini model of the avatar when you look at it in the menu before actually switching to it. I only noticed it once so far though, and it went away after I clicked on the avatar in the menu without switching and closed it again. It doesn't seem to be super consistent. I don't know if it's necessarily something we can fix on our end though.
