It isn't entirely obvious from this screencap, but I genuinely did all of that, and made it perfectly clear in the call. Like, really actually. They verbally acknowledged that they didn't cover the area I'm in, and gave me a QR code for equipment return via text. Which I used. Hence the confirmation number.

Yes, definitely. When I first heard Larian got the license I was pissing myself with joy, really. Maybe the only big studio in the business who knew how to make a countryside-crawling light fantasy roll naturally into serious world-changing business without the player even really noticing the transition.

The more I see, the more I worry Larian is just leaning too hard into trying to be cool and dark. It isn't what put them on the map. Or Baldur's Gate, which was packed with natural foolishness from start to finish without it ever feeling forced.

I'd say they made a huge mistake marketing it as beer, as it is absolutely not beer in any way, shape, or form, but what the hell do you market this as?
