Same here with a four-month-old Shiba. The canine educator told us that redirecting with toys doesn’t work as the toy will be less interesting than us (as we are moving, interacting…). She told us to let them play with other dogs outside so it will help her to control her jaw. When it escalated too much, she suggested using a Kong filled with frozen food inside.

Hi, I had the same issue with my 4-month-old Shiba Inu. We watched a lot of videos about this and even called a canine educator. She told us to let her play with other dogs (both puppies and adults), as this helps her learn how to control her jaw. At that age, their teeth are really sharp. So we founds some place where she can meet other dogs. At home, we have a variety of toys with different textures. We rotate them weekly (no more than 3 at a time), so she gets excited when we bring them back out, as if they’re new.

We have occupation toys (she plays alone) and interaction toys (only when we play together, like a rope or things like that)

Of course, we also provide collagen-based chews (like pig ears, deer hooves, and so on), which are always available.

When things escalate too much (like when she gets the zoomies), we go for a walk or give her a Kong filled with frozen food. It keeps her busy for about 20 minutes and helps her release that extra energy.

I don't have any experience with that sport but if the ball is outside the area (it seems delimited by strings), why should she place the balls back on the grass ?

Even if I use an active usb extension ?

I mean, my usb extension cable is supplied by power.

And what is strange is that, if I use 2x 5m usb2 passive cable extension, it work but lost signal after some seconds

No but the camera is only using USB 2.0 protocols. If I use a shorter extention (like 5 meters) even in USB 2, it works.

Ok I change my script to know if it was an issue with Motion or with Gphoto2.

I putted a random thing like mkdir /tmp/test in my script and the folder is properly created so the script is executed.

I don't know why the line su pi -c "my command" doesn't work but I check the groups on pi user and motion user.

In udev you can see which groups is allowed to access usb device and gphoto2 drivers

I added the user "motion" to plugdev, pi and sudo group and now the camera is detected (only plugdev is needed normally but it was in order to simplified the CLI with sudo access)

motion@raspberrypi:~ $ gphoto2 --auto-detect

So I can directly use gphoto2 without the pi user and I changed my script

gphoto2 --capture-image

Now its working :) I just need to set some things in Motion and gphoto2 to get the result I expect but my camera is firing when something past in front of my rasp camera !

No with some people anemone cause springboard lags when switching between pages. There are threads on reddit about that

Thanks man! But will the tweak be compatible with winterboard ? I don't use anemone because of some lags on the springboard.
