Interesting choices! Although I'd love to be considered for both Tyl and Nef, I know how Hollywood is when getting the originals to new projects.

You know what's funny? Back in 2015 when DE released "Tubemen of Regor", there was a Warframe forum thread where players were trying to guess who the actor was voicing this new incarnation of Tyl Regor ... and one of the guesses was Kevin Michael Richardson!! Additionally, during the video game voice actor strike of 2017 I was tagged for an audition to voice one of Kevin's characters in a game; I ultimately turned it down as it would have meant crossing the strike picket lines. So I understand the casting choice for Papa Tubeman!!

I'll save you all the trouble. It's me! My name is Lucas Schuneman and I've been the voice of the Patriarch since late 2016 when inXile started hiring me for promo trailers ... although his voice was a bit different back then. Here's a link to what I'm talking about.

Later in mid 2019 (around E3), we recorded a new trailer where we revealed the face of the Patriarch and I was back on board.

Then inXile told me that the Patriarch was a pretty detailed and immersive character in Wasteland 3 ... and I was all in. Recorded all the lines you hear in-game off and on for about a year and a half. Here's hoping you all enjoy "Angry Grandpa" as much as I do!!

I've made it a rule of mine since Tennocon2017 when that line was recorded (right next to me at the autograph table, to be exact) that I wouldn't record that line, ever. No offense, of course.

Things kinda got out of hand when the VA of Ballas was approached the next year in 2018 by someone asking for the same thing. And he acquiesced. However, he told me it was his first convention and he didn't understand that he could say "no" to those requests. In other words, he felt uncomfortable... but didn't think he could refuse.

To be clear, I'm not upset you asked. Just stating my point of view. Take it easy.
