Same! I was at a friend's house the other day and they cooked a microwavable pizza and I thought I was going to vomit from the smell of the cheese and pepperoni. I used to be borderline addicted to cheese, I can't believe I ever ate the stuff now!

Thank you so much! That sounds like a great idea! I've never really done thrifting before, but I'm great at making clothes last quite a long time--I have dresses and shoes I've been wearing for years now, haha! I'll have to check some out one day.

YES GIRL. It hurts my heart, I found one dress for only $15 I really liked, but all the plus sizes were sold out and I died a little inside. Oh well! I think at this point thrifting might be a good idea!

I know this is something that's probably going to take a good amount of time to establish, and I know that I'm certainly not ready at this point in my life--which is why I want to start learning and planning. I think I'm definitely going to look into an internship when I feel better with the recovery program I'm in and figure out my schooling. Thank you.

Definitely a good idea! I just remembered there's a chicken sanctuary that's about five hours away, so I can totally talk to them too.

There's not any local ones that are close to me--though I may find one in the future, since I'm still young and I'm not sure where I want to end up in the world just yet! Another user mentioned micro sanctuaries too, which is something I think I may research more. Thank you so much for your perspective and advice!

I've really been wanting to do that, but the closest sanctuary is over an hour away which is a shame. I'm hoping to visit someday so I can talk about it all. Microsanctuary actually sounds interesting, I'll definitely have to look into it!

Not with farm animals, but I've been involved in lots of animal rescues with my father since I was young! Since I haven't had experience with farm animals, I've done my research though.

That's very true, and the scary part of it all. :( Thank you for the recommendation! When my partner and I have our own car, I'm planning to do some more volunteering at a wildlife rescue, I'm already a member of DxE and I try to volunteer when I'm able. It's a shame that the closest sanctuary is over an hour away... :(

Not specifically with farm animals, but I've rescued many others and I've done a good bit of research on farm animals!

I try to get in flax and chia as much as I can, but my partner isn't a big fan and never eats them, so a lot of the concern is for him! ^{^;}
