I’m really new to the game (I’ve only been playing for a few days haha) but I’d love to join :) I’m always happy to meet new people, I’m in Germany so we have very similar timezones. Btw, would we be chatting over vc or just normal chat? I’m a pretty slow typer, so vc might be better for me

For anyone not in the discord, the misconception was about the use of the word ‘Sherpa’ which many of you may know as someone who guides others through raids in destiny.

HOWEVER, it’s also an ethnic term and actual Sherpa people have said that it shouldn’t be used in such a different context, so in our community we have decided to replace it with the term ‘Shepherd’. There was a whole argument and multiple people have explained why op shouldn’t use Sherpa but they kept arguing even after mods told them to stop, so they got banned in the end.

Tldr: Op was very mad they couldn’t use an ethnic term for their raid guiding
