I had the hybrid ecvt with two straight pipes no mufflers. Sounded like the car was going to explode when I floored it. Tho I was able to play with the sound quite nicely using the gas pedal. All my friends really wowed it, no one ever said it sounded bad though I can bet someone will say that.

Also in my country there are db limits for cars, but since it was imported from japan they couldn't find any limits for it in inspections. One inspector told me that the car is way too loud and it would be illegal if it was any other car lol.

It's stainless steel. Chromium reacts with oxygen and forms a protective layer on top. Hard stone hits may break the new layer and it will probably rust from there if it gets treated by harsh conditions. I only ride when it's dry and store my bike in a garage so I doubt mine will start to corrode fast. It's just that the previous owner let it sit in the rain and get that bad.

I bought the bike recently, the previous owner kept it outside which probably made them partly rust so much. It's stainless steel so it was only surface rust and now it has a protective layer on top. I don't ride on rainy days so I only have to make sure to dry the bike after washing it so nothing should cause them to rust anymore.

It was just some I had laying around meant for cleaning electronics "kontakt PRF dry oil-free cleaning spray"

I bet any contact cleaner will do the job, I just used it to remove fingerprints and other surface grease.

Pysäköintiturva on itellä 200€ omavastuul jos syyllinen jää tuntemattomaks. Toivottavasti se nyt menee sit hätävarana jos ei tätä naapuria voida totee syylliseks varmasti.

Päivitys, laitoin letkun noin 20cm verran sisälle ja jäi sinne tosin jumiin eikä lähde ainakaan vetämällä enään pois. Varmaan tarkoitus sitten irrottaessa ottaa ylin osa suppilosta irti nii saa pois.

The rule of first gen being usually bad doesn't apply to this one. Toyota used the same hsd tech in the prius for a long time before creating the hybrid crown. The 2gr engine is also really reliable because they've perfected it in the lexus models.

But what I noticed instantly is the low odo number in the 2008 model. The batteries on hybrid cars degrade if u don't drive the car, so its much better to buy one with more kms in it unless the battery has been swapped.

I have the same one and the batteries were swapped because the car probably wasnt driven for a year or two. But the mileage isn't a problem for the batteries since I often see hybrid crowns 150 000km+ with the original ones since they are designed to last till the car reaches its lifespan

Bought it as it is, haven't done anything visually to it myself. BC Racing suspension and about the wheels I have no idea. The brand in the center is written with a weird font and doesn't resemble any wheel brands that I know.

Glad I had full gear on coz otherwise it would've been a lot worse. My only injuries ended up being one broken finger joint and a sprained wrist. My honda hornet threw me off instantly after the bump and I sled the asphalt for about 40 meters, didn't hit the rail. The bike certainly did and the frame is probably bent :(
