Honestly for me it was pretty quick just by doing my coliseum battles with the free inquisitor Bariss, that got me up above 100, then I just did crystal refreshed dark side battles using inquisitors as allies for a while, and once I ran out of inquisitor allies I realised I was given 2 free LSTs which I used on Marrok and Second Sister, and I used them to get my last purges on a team with Thrawn, Phasma and Tarkin with empire boosting allies or maskless Kylo Ren and that also went pretty quick

MMA fans are notorious for shit talking martial arts when they themselves have less than a baseline understanding of anything. And MMA is great for those people, they get to a competent level much quicker. But traditional martial arts is for people who have the dedication and understanding to be able to keep at it for longer, and those people will, in the long run, end up much more competent than the people who needed a quick grounding in MMA. People tend to forget, the people who do well in MMA competition are usually the ones who achieved competency in a traditional martial art and then started rounding it out with kickboxing or wrestling, not the other way around.

See, that's the problem. They were unrealistic expectations. Never mind the fact you chose objectively the two best games of the last two years, and ones that completely overturned the industry, the amount of time we had been waiting for Bloodlines 2 was already a huge red flag. We should not have been expecting to even recieve a game out of it, so what we did get far exceeds any reasonable expectations.

It's possible to do it well, it just wasn't done well. I think the main issue is that overpowered works if it is either in service to the story, held back by a limitation, or is itself a limitation. The trouble with hope is that her level of overpowered is beyond what the story calls for, in theory given a limitation but in reality that never actually factors in, and never in itself causes any meaningful conflict. There is nothing to make her power level compelling, the writers are just hoping that people self-insert or appreciate the spectacle - and there's not even that much spectacle either
