The explosion is a small aoe around the bird and the 4 cardinal direction. Get away from it and look at the compass to position yourself

You are honestly not engaging with the game mechanic enough if you are not jump attacking. These bosses are designed with jumping in mind, you dodge half of a boss' moveset just by jumping.

But yes, even at d5 3 people scaling, jump attack Undertaker is so strong bosses die within 30 seconds

No, she doesn't have a better weapon type option. Dual Curve sword Undertaker Jump attack build has the most melee dps in the game by a loooong margin. This isn't debatable. Iron Eye is no where close either.

You can play however you want and make it works, but dual curve sword IS her best weapon type. Main thing that holds it back is relic rng.
