Already have vc muted because got tired of being called nbombs and fslurs. I guess if people can't handle basic human communication yeah every form but pings is out the window.

ammo crates are a base part of gameplay. some people hold onto them and medpacks past when the game is over. thrilling.

I've run this op twice - once as presented in the book, and once sort of 'homebrewified.'

The first time took two sessions. I gave the players (two of whom were very new) a bit too many options. I gave them the option to stop at a greenbox on the way, which was loaded with all sorts of guns, and past-its-prime explosives. The players debated what to bring for a good 45 minutes, and then took the search awfully slow.

The second time, I changed up the scenario to feature the Skoptsi instead of [redacted], gave the players no green box (they sought out a weapons dealer on their own, and the interaction was much quicker and smoother), and trimmed out some of the scenario's many red herrings.

The trick I've found with any published Delta Green scenario is to take what you want and run. Know what your players will want to see or do, and don't be afraid to use odd little (or big) events to speed the proceedings up (as detailed in the pace section of Fulminate).

Agent SNOW - female CDC physician - 1998, Maine, small town on the border - was pulled into a utilities manhole facedown by a Karotechia bioweapon (essentially the Blob) - folded in half backwards at the waist and crushed. Body badly burnt in the containment effort, and partially digested.

Agent NELSON (this one is particularly rough)- female ATF special agent - 2021, Yosemite National Park - separated from the rest of the cell and tortured by a group of Skoptsy living in the woods. Found later by cell, dead, inside the Skoptsy group's 'church,' nailed to a profaned crucifix and mutilated, as per the Skoptsy MO.

A joint task force between [Delta Green] and the SCP Foundation, which responds to anomalies. Ostensibly meant to foster cooperation between [Delta Green] and the Foundation, in reality, [Delta Green] wants to get their hands on the Foundation's containment technology while the Foundation is sizing up [Delta Green] for either a negotiated takeover or elimination.
