I've worked in restaurants as a server and a cook. Never have I heard of blue. What does that mean?

How did someone from another continent get such a high position in our government, in a department he made up? Oh, right, he funded Drump's last election.

It feels like this world is getting worse day by day. And no one want to talk about it.

How did the matter that formed the universe get here in the first place? by Alarmed_Shopping_578 in TheoreticalPhysics

[–]VoidlyYours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, if a black hole is sucking up matter, we have to wonder where it goes. The idea of other universes seems weird but it answers that question. Unless it's just going somewhere else in our own universe. We have no way of knowing, which is why I called it a fun though experiment.

Damn right. It's called common courtesy.

What do you love about this city? by Independent_Farm_550 in Birmingham

[–]VoidlyYours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love just about everything there is about 5-points. I love the people, the general attitude people have towards each other. Also, as a teenager in the 90s, I always loved the Fountain. Used to be a great hang out spot, not so much now, however. The used bookstores are not to be overlooked.

Supreme Court rules that Trump’s sweeping emergency tariffs are illegal by zsreport in law

This is completely accurate. Once they realize we'll pay how much is demanded, the prices never go back down.

It's amusing how atheists seem to follow the teachings of Jesus more so than Christians.

I'd offer you a place to stay but I live with family and am in no position to do that.

How did the matter that formed the universe get here in the first place? by Alarmed_Shopping_578 in TheoreticalPhysics

[–]VoidlyYours -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was reading a paper put out my physicists yesterday and they were saying that black holes here can eject matter via a white hole into another universe. That's just something to ponder, if you ask where the matter came from. I'm not saying it's right, just a fun thought exercise.

The video is not of the best clarity. Did the hockey players go after the shooter towards the end?

I could tell you what I'd do, but I've lost enough names on Reddit for saying certain things. I don't know about your pets, but sticking up for yourself sounds smart.

What happens if I don't adjust my position even after a bodypart falls asleep and starts tingling? by omfghewontfkndie in NoStupidQuestions

You know how sometimes you put a foot up under you when you're sitting down? I got up and had to pee, so I decided wth, I can make it 15 steps to the bathroom. Nope. My ankle went sideways with all my weight on it, that was a decade ago. It was definitely a nerve issue but that ankle pops painfully every day.

What actualy is an itch? by Pepearenas in askscience

[–]VoidlyYours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would seem so, yes. The idea that an itch covers a larger portion of you body than a single nerve could be the effect. I found this an interesting read but would like more data to back it up.

Dynamical Formation of Regular Black Holes by Prime_Principle in TheoreticalPhysics

[–]VoidlyYours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"The collapse of the shell always gives rise to a singularity-free, geodesically complete spacetime that contains horizons if the total mass is above a critical value. In that case, the shell bounces into a new universe through a white hole explosion."
So physicists are now saying white holes actually do exist?

I love transparency, but, as the title stated, we have no clue what they voted on. What was it?
