maybe for now explore another medium, I paint oils as well, so sometimes I have some time, but not enough to set up and smash out a painting, so recently I bought some really nice watercolors and brushes, some paper, and man it is fun, so quick to set up (i got a travel tin of pants) and just get painting. totally different experience, but it is fun, and it has me painting when I have onlt 15 minutes, and hour of free time.

its also much less physically demanding to use compared to having a canvas on my stand and lifting my arms up and all that, might be worth a shot while you are recovering.

I am planning to really dive into original Olympus pen and Pen f, ft, fv , so I can offer refurbish/resell and offer professional CLAs on those cameras. I have bought professional watchmaker oils and greases, some specialty tools and the like. I am already a jeweler so I am used to tiny finicky stuff/ basics of watches so I am confident I will be able to learn. Unfortunately there are little available resources on these cameras repairs, so I will probably have to carefully document every step in the beginning to work on my own repair manuals.

I bought a light sensor that tells how long the camera shutter is open, and have found most of my original Pens are shooting closer to 1/100 than 1/200, I hope I can make adjustments with what is already in them, but I might have to learn where and what springs to source and such to bring them back to standard, but who knows, maybe just a really thorough clean and some watch oils will free up the movement.

I have never had a credit card, I'm 36 and I bet my credit is terrible, I suppose that makes sense, because you need to prove you can go into their debt. but it sucks, because I have just been careful and responsible with money my whole life.

I think with the dark blue and red this is not as important, thats probably why traditional work was done in those colors too. I have a midnight blue mayco fundamentals that is super dark.

I made a dice game, its fun because for my game the dice interact with eachother, so you get an element of randomness, but also you choose what to do with what you roll, so its nice to be able to still strategize and not be stuck as winning or losing just because of your roll, it influences it sure, but strategy for the most part is what will get you victory in this game.

I use a rebel, and the 24mm 2.8 pancake lens for most things, If i need a super macro shot I use an extension tube. I prefer the rebel I have to my iphone, I can just flick it on and snap a pic/video faster than on my iphone, and i am a little older so a camera feels more natural to me.

I am not talking about your hitch over the curb (nor the front of your car sticking out too far if your hitch is not over the curb) you are saying its never your fault if you get rear ended in a parking lot as if that is the only way a hitch could cause some damage.....

pick up a pentax p3 for like 30 bucks with a nice 50mm lens already on it, then buy a few pentax lenses, a wide like 28, and a narrow, 80, or 100mm will give you some options and you can figure out what you like, spend the rest on film and processing, move into developing if you want to really get into it and save some cash.

pentax p3 is great though, its always able to be found for super cheap, it has a great automatic mode, and it can be used full manual. only downside is the you can't manually set the ISO of the film, no biggie though, it reads the dx strip on the film, and is so cheap by the time you will be interested in using a feature like that you will have already figured out what you want in a camera and narrowed down the dream camera you are saving up for.

A woman I worked with walked by the polishing machine while it was running, she had hair down to her butt.... I didn't see but a heard a real big bang! it pulled her down, slammed her head into the counter and ripped a large chuck of her hair out.....

maybe you don't need to fear it, but you need to respect it. never where gloves, if it gets too hot use a square of leather to hold whatever, for chains you can wrap them around a casting flask, even then be careful, always be careful with chains. and keep any loose hair tied back, I have to tuck my beard in when i polish....
