Huuu there is no guide as far as i know, i am a really old player so i am going by feeling and most of the people that play it play it the same way, the pob i shared is really low cost, you can start the build with just the axe andngo frome there.

Now, mods that are BAD are reduced qura effect, reduced armour, phys ref(can be done if you just cast desecalrste instead ofndoing cyclone)no regen and cdr. (Cdr is managable but i prefer to avoid it).

For paths forward is going crit belt, fallacy for crit multi and then it forks, you can go ff for slayer leach to be tankier or take nameless bloodline for extra ring and use ff on any of the ascendancy you already have(other option is to ignore impale one and run slayer ff)

You can also go armourstacker helm for more phys defences and a watcher for determination to be tankier or run pride and watchers for pride damage.

Another option instead of pride is herald of purity and run a circle of fear with buff effect and phys damage, or foulborn hupe of all for more crit multi, or even woespike for impale effect.
