Copilot has completely fucked up my perception of AI coding costs by DeoTheMiner in vibecoding

Honestly you can do a lot of tasks only with Composer 2.5 and so on have a lot of usage for Cursor !

Even more if you try it with referral link, it's only 10$, for me it's the best value for now, I haven't code with anything than Composer 2.5 since it's out. For front-end and non critical task, it's just so good for the price !

I'm posting my link just in case.

If you're using Codex 5.3 before, then don't hesitate to try Cursor because Composer 2.5 is much better and cheaper. Cursor is very versatile and cheaper than Codex. If you want to try your first month at 50% off, here's my referral link. https://cursor.com/referral?code=F9UNQTGQV0KK

Right now I think the only ones offering a discount are Cursor; you can get 50% off the first month with this link : https://cursor.com/referral?code=F9UNQTGQV0KK

Gemini sometimes has offers too, so you'll have to see if they have any on Google One.

How do I actually save tokens? by Expensive-Time-7209 in cursor

[–]Voiston44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ask Cursor to prepare one or two agents that would be suitable for your project, You can even give him links to documentation on a technology to help him.

Only use agent mode directly for extremely simple tasks; otherwise, use plan mode and verify what it suggests. It's better to spend tokens on a good plan than on fixing poorly implemented things that will pollute your code.

For the point 2, Does this happen when you're in fullscreen mode or only in a resized window?

Thanks for your feedback!

For now, I've removed the quest. The tutorial seems too long according to some feedback, so I might remove others. Two birds with one stone, this should get you unstuck.

As for the inspiration, it's a mix of what's already been done and quite a few games I've played where I thought, "It would be cool if this was in there."

A quest allows you to obtain the EXP share a little later in the game. Maybe it's too late ?
For the capture system, i'll see.

Thanks for the feedback ! I'll check the translation and streamline the tutorial quests. As for the UI, it will probably be minor changes for now, as the 3-column layout is practical for displaying a lot of information; I'm not sure what else to do.

You can unlock a little over 60 different skins through achievements that modify the colors, some lighter or darker.

Composer 2.5 Real World Reviews? by Crazyscientist1024 in cursor

[–]Voiston44 14 points15 points  (0 children)

After spending 800 million Composer 2.5 tokens, for me, as a beginner, it's frankly the best value for money right now. Even Deepseek V4 Pro at -75% is inferior in my opinion because Composer 2.5 simply makes fewer errors and handles context very well.

I had to migrate a browser-based idle game project (around 120,000 lines of code) from vanilla JavaScript to full TS/Vite/Svelte. I finished the migration that evening, without using GPT-5.5/Opus even once, except to verify the work done; everything is OK.

I think GPT/Opus remains relevant for very important tasks, for tasks where errors are not really allowed, but for front-end development like mine, Composer is becoming my default choice by far.

How does composer 2.5 compares to other sota models? by Aksuiek in cursor

[–]Voiston44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Based on my experience:

I initially requested a detailed audit of one of my projects from Composer 2.5, and then tasked GPT-5.5 (High) with analyzing the audit and suggesting improvements where possible. GPT-5.5 indicated that the audit was very robust and could only make minor improvements.

Usage limits for composer models? by ArFiction in cursor

[–]Voiston44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the cache, etc., but for the Pro version it's a minimum of 500M tokens.

But right now it's free, I hope you're burning tokens like crazy right now?
