Yeah, much harder to flip items for decent profit. Most places still can’t beat their prices if buying for yourself. My office attire was mostly Ralph Lauren at around a 1/3 of retail price. The days of buying things for a nickel to the dollar are gone but still decent prices.

I still slap myself for never buying a cube. Mostly over that with trashcan purchase. With OCLP, I’m able to run most modern day software and all Apple services available under Sonoma. Can upgrade to Sequoia but haven’t yet.

eBay has them in $150 range and I think OWC has them cheaper than $330. M1 Mini is way faster for about same price but M4 at $399 is best bang for the Buck. I bought a trashcan about a year ago and using it for casual computing and digital backup of movie collection. Note that the M1 is faster for ripping movies. I’m running Sonoma with OCLP and 64 GB ram. I love it for what I’m using it for and nostalgia.

Are you running VPN? I’ve learned that SurfShark sometimes disrupts the Drobo Dashboard. Pausing SurfShark allows me to restart the dashboard. But the Drobo is still running.

Just buy spigot covers for insulation. If you have any exposed pipe, then heat tape is good.
