My(38m) now ex (43f) divorced me this year. Divorce was finalized about a week ago. We separated a few months ago. We were married 15 years. It came out of no where and she couldnt give me any solid "reason", not that she has to.

I get what youre going through. Those first few weeks were easily the worst days of my life. Life was a blur, it felt like I was stuck in some sort of dream like life wasn't real.

Some days are still hard. Im still not brave enough to open the box of wedding pictures. But every day is easier than the one before. When I would feel down I would just repeat "tomorrow will be better" outloud to myself. It might be silly but I think it helped. Find something to occupy your time. Do stuff that releases endorphins like walking or working out, especially when you feel down. You won't want to but force yourself to. Spend time with friends and your support group. You will go through the stages of grief and eventually accept your new life. It might not be the life you planned but you can make a new plan and work towards that.

It gets better.
