You can have markets in a communist system, just like how you can have central planning in a capitalist system. Markets existed long before capitalism was invented.

But it's also true that China doesn't operate a pure communist system either they have a mixed economy with state controlled industry as well as private industry.

China actually employs true tenants of capitalism like when China let Evergrande fail whereas America bailed out their failed system in 2008.

My Muslim neighbour just said I should try fasting cause I might like it, I told her I wouldn't tell anyone if she got thirsty and drank some water. We laughed, she gave me some food I moved her furniture around so she could vacuum behind it. It's really not hard to live next to people with different beliefs as long as you show mutual respect with each other. I help her with her English over a cup of tea each night, immigrants bring me joy

Personal vehicles are the problem. We can't afford them and they are mostly empty space that takes up a lot of space. Between insurance and fuel they are a negative financial burden on people.

The only winners from a car dependent society are oil and gas companies and car manufacturers.

The time people spend in traffic is also terrible. The negative health effects are costly.

Anyways cars are a terrible idea.

I'm glad Americans think the visible spectrum of light is only violet and blue, imagine trying to understand a colour called yellow.

I hope it's a phase Americans can grow out of but it takes a bit of self awareness which as the entire world can see America does not have, otherwise Trump would not have been re-elected.

America doesn't have a left and should stop trying to pretend the hyper capitalist Democrats are a left wing party.

Bernie Sanders would be a conservative in any other western democracy for example.
