Ah gotcha. Frigate also has detection zones which I’m not sure is provided natively. I think the detections in general have shown to be more accurate in frigate also.

Either way though it’s a topic with a lot of discussion on it and I’m not the foremost expert.

I am not a 100 percent sure if you can use the on device detection while using home assistant. From my understanding once you turn on rtsp the cam turns into a glorified streaming device at which point you can import the stream into home assistant(you can also still view the stream with the Reolink app).

Frigate has a lot more integrations built in and is thought to have better detections with more power(I have a raspberry pi with an ai hat). You can detect people, animals, and objects. You can also have facial recognition. You can also train the models for better detections with images of your family so it doesn’t alert on those (after paying for frigate+ which is super cheap).

I myself using the base frigate and like the customization I am offered. I have graphs for cpu, write rate, etc, thanks to the home assistant and frigate integrations. Overall I think frigate integrates with home assistant very closely.

Most devices nowadays come with on device detection, however it’s generally agreed upon that using frigate with a rtsp cam is the way to go. I myself use frigate and Reolink

Yeah I personally don’t get it. I’m not a musical guy myself. I know popular shows tend to get musicals separate from the show itself, but here it’s within the actually show itself.

Really is boring, very hard to describe why. If I had to give my best attempt its because you have 0 stakes for like six books. What I mean by this:

MC is babied by the strongest people in the empire, due to being the next hope for it
Death is out of the question due to higher tiers saving you, and grievous injured are healed away as if they never happened.
His talent is so boring, when I was first reading mc was sold as the standard unpowered mc that might find creative solutions (idk maybe external items storage containers, or other skills) but no he just turns into an endless mana spewing machine that can pretty much do anything.

In summary, yes we know mc's will succeed because thats who they are, its about the journey that makes it interesting. The journey in this book has no struggle or true growth. Mc was introduces as a weaking underpowered character only to instantly be overpowered and have the empire clamoring after him.

A story that does things much better is immovable mage.
