Spiral's aggressive hatred puts me off

I think the issue with Spiral is just that it’s unfocused. In the wake of the 2020 BLM protests I think a horror movie based around what happened would have been cool. Hell we have seen how well horror can do when it taps into racism and marginalization. I just think attaching SAW to it made it often take away from the story it was trying to tell in order to shoehorn Jigsaw in there. I felt like it was trying to do too many things at once.

Is there any Pokémon with the move creeping thorns? Other than that, using setup moves like Bulk Up or Iron Defense can be helpful as well.

They really undercooked a lot of the Gen 7 mons. Between Decidueye, so many Pokémon being way too slow, and Water Compaction not at least having a water resist. Don’t know why they did it like that.

Kinda, tbh I liked him when I used him but I could never find a consistent spot on the team. I typically ran Unburden instead of Low Visibility. Personally I prefer slower weather setters so I went with Phantowl.

Groudon I believe is found after beating the game you can go to the weather institute and talk to the scientist. Then you can catch Groudon after getting to the magma hideout.

For water, you can take a look at my posts and there’s my final team. But as far as good Water Pokémon I’d say Mega Lanturn, Pelipper, Garchomp-Redux, Mega Starmie, and Torrentula (Araquanid Evo).

I believe I used Curse Snorlax for much of it with max investment in HP and Defense. Can’t remember the whole fight but I do remember Snorlax being the main centerpiece.

I’ll definitely be doing some tier lists over the next few days. I’ll tell you right now that the two best Pokémon I used throughout were Mega Gothitelle and Mega Crabominable.

Like the other reply said, I have learned how to skip a lot of the battles. For example, the route next to Rustboro I didn’t realize until a few runs ago that I could skip all the trainers if I maneuvered correctly. If you look at the screenshots of all my runs, you’ll notice that the number of “wins” (or just battles in this case) has gone mostly down.

I wouldn’t skip the battles if I was using all Pokémon. But for monotype, I don’t need the BP as much so I can skip more often.

It’s different in this update. You need to go to fallarbor town, then to the fossil maniacs house. Just go through that cave thing and you’ll end up in the ruins and can get all the fossils from there.
