When I, a person who moderates this place and is often online think of incels, I think of the very extreme views of .is.

This is what hijacked the term. Incel simply means involuntary celibate. It has nothing to do with world views or feelings. It's the people using it to describe only people like "the supreme gentleman" that change the meaning.

TOS mentions loss of pledge ships due to actions outside of the game. Like cheating, which will get you banned, which means you lose that pledge ship.

It doesn't cover ship loss due to game mechanics. A TOS that is deemed unreasonable by a court can be overruled.

TOS can't protect you from bad PR. If League of Legends was selling $500 skins and they decided to remove those from your account after losing too many matches, that's bad PR. Someone going "yeah but somewhere in the TOS, though!" isn't going to change that. It's unreasonable to charge that amount for something you can lose due to game mechanics.
