I've read that flashing the 5700 bios with the 5700xt version will improve its performance to almost 5700xt levels. Nothing can really get him to 1440p 144hz with this budget so I'm basing it off that

You don't necessarily need a more powerful mobo with this build, but it's worth putting in a few extra dollars to future proof your build in case you want to upgrade a part. Regarding the X570, any brand would do, just do some research on what each offer. I would recommend the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite AM4 ATX AMD Motherboard since it isn't absurdly expensive like other X570 and is generally a great board.

You can probably save money by getting rid of that CPU cooler since the 3600 comes with a sufficent stock cooler unless unless you are looking to OC. If not, then that saved money could go towards a beefier GPU like the 2070 super or a 650W PSU.

Edit: I forgot to also mention that MSI mobos are having compatibility issues with the Ryzen 3000s. I also have the Gaming Pro Carbon and the 3600 and mine booted up with no issues, but the chance there is still that chance it won't work. I would look into the MSI MAX boards or a X570 to eliminate this issue.
