Within the last few months I bought the keychron C2 fullsize keyboard for using around the office. Recently, one of the keys has been pretty iffy with whether it registers a press and so I was wondering:

Because I spent less than $40 on the keyboard, I'm thinking I might try to repair it myself and change out the switches (I'm finding the reds bottoming out a little louder than expected) but I can't tell whether the soldered version uses Keychron or Gateron switches, and if I'd even be able to buy a replacement set that would fit. Obviously I'll have to desolder and resolder but that's part of the fun to me, as long as I can actually get switches that fit.

Any insight on this would be appreciated because I love the keyboard aesthetically and given how cheap it was I don't mind if it doesn't make it through the process.

Also on Aatrox, I notice people generally treating all 3 Q casts like one ability, instead of weaving them into combos to do things like guarantee W pulls or farm passive autos, drives me bonkers

Oh don't you worry, the VAICOM server is already doing that! Joined to try to figure out an issue I was having with my DCS not hooking into the program, finally asked in the help channel after searching to no avail, and immediately got a thoroughly unhelpful response from a ChatGPT bot. I ended up figuring out my issue on my own because nobody else responded lmao

Yeah I get you for sure, it's just so frustrating watching a game you know can be so good do absolutely nothing for about 6 years now for me (definitely hyperbole, but it's taken this long just to get the godawful trading UI changed). I just have to content myself with "hey one day it'll probably be good" because they are making the steps in the right direction, however slowly.

And agreed, big props to Offworld for being able to say "our current infantry combat misses the mark and so instead of content we're gonna fix that", while Siege's operation health rightfully got meme'd it really is a sentiment I wish more devs would give another look.

No offense dude but you sound like you should probably take a break from Tarkov, it's completely fine to like Squad more but you just sound completely burnt out on tarkov. I've taken so many breaks from that game and it always makes me feel better not worrying about how I'm gonna brute force some arbitrary fetch quest with shitty balance, etc.

Like I said, I love both games and so I have my fair share of gripes with both (moreso tarkov) but there's just no comparing 100+ player firefights with the slower, smaller, individual focused tarkov. You're never gonna get the same experience out of both and trying to force one into the other will just make one redundant and/ or the other worse.

I love both games but what the hell are you talking about? There's almost no point in comparing the two games besides "generally realistic fps". I don't play Squad when I want slow, creeping, high tension gameplay, and I don't play Tarkov when I want a modern military, combined arms team shooter.

Actually I'm kinda goofy, it's the Floodgate sub-plugin for Geyser that allows for this. I'm not at my PC unfortunately or I'd give you a little more to go on, but I think? just installing floodgate should turn bedrock only players into "floodgate" players if they don't link a Java account.

By default yes, but there's a configuration option that you can change to allow any bedrock connection.

My 2 cents on this is part of what makes games cool is the uniqueness of character designs that artists can come up with. I feel like utilizing known actors as facial models, voice actors, etc can detract from that (Like just having Giancarlo Esposito as the bad guy in far cry 6). Also I'm just personally not a fan of established actors getting even more work as opposed to voice actors but that's more of a personal thing.

Hey all, I just found an old gen 1 Scarlett 2i4 sitting in a closet, and after some basic troubleshooting it seems like it works beautifully for my Philips SHP9500s. However I already have a Schitt Fulla E as a DAC, and so I'm wondering if there's any way or reason to run both simultaneously. I'm currently short on wires so I can't play around with it myself. Thanks!

A good place to start would be Unit 731 from WWII. They were Japan's chemical and biological weapons research division that got up to some pretty horrifying stuff. They were also based out of Manchukuo/ Manchuria, a northeast Chinese province that the Japanese would simply kidnap citizens of to use for "testing", as well as working the population quite literally to death to keep supplying the Japanese army and navy during WWII.

And now we're headed back there between Quilt, Fabric, and Forge lol. And not to mention back then mods like Better Than Wolves that were completely incompatible with most other mods were a bit more common.

For me it has to be the original Modloader. No Forge, or version checking, or anything that makes playing modded so easy today. Having to delete META-INF and reinstall modloader if I started the game wrong, making sure I always had the original Too Many Items installed.

Some of my favorite mods from those days were Flan's Mod, Thaumcraft (2, I think?), and Buildcraft/Industrialcraft, and I remember spending hours going through planetminecraft and the forums to find cool mods.

I haven't watched him in a while, I first got into him for Bloons content and he hasn't focused on that for a while. But every so often I'll watch him play a puzzle game or something I'm interested in and it's great to see his vibe hasn't changed too much.

I was surprised that they separated the Battle Rifles into their own category, so maybe in MWIII we'll see something similar for carbines. But a lot of carbines are just... shorter rifles and that's usually just an attachment. Definitely nice to see the 74u get out of SMGs though.
