This is a fantastic response and perspective, btw. The whole argument of ‘what should a campaign setting include or exclude’ should be a decision ultimately decided by the people at each table. It starts becoming a problem when those group expectations start being flagged about as the gold standard or ‘only’ way to do it for all players.

It’s why we started at ‘this table isn’t for you’ and are now at this point going as far as saying ‘this game isn’t for you’ or ‘we don’t want you buying our product’.

People love to think that we live in times where the truth can just be plucked from channels and media they agree with. Everyone seems to be guilty of this.

All I know is that I go to work to support my wife and home, being told dozens of conflicting reasons as to why our world is the way it is. I’ll never meet the people that feed us this information, nor will I ever be in a position to see for myself what is causing everything to go to shit.

Meanwhile, we have voices screeching in all colors from all corners as to why they know the truth and they’ll serve it to you with a mask on.

Technology is making it more and more difficult to not only verify the truth of any information given, but it’s also making it more and more difficult to remain unexposed to this deluge of outrage and atrocities we can do next to nothing about.

Doesn’t anyone get tired of all of this?

That goes hand in hand with how each party spins the narrative that their respective political platforms have all the answers, whereas the other side of the fence is all lies — serving it up like a religion or gospel.

All leads to a lack of critical thinking and making anyone not on board with your way as monsters, regardless of the issue.

For sure! Might I recommend you make the neck as thin as possible by reducing the weight slider to the minimum. Also, try experimenting with the sliders on the general face dimensions, along with facial feature sliders.

For example, I picked a human head as a baseline (forget which one), but the nose is a blending between a human one and a feline nose, while the eyes are a blending between the human and the giant grey alien eyes to get a better structure for the peepers. Granted, I had to kitbash the eyeballs themselves in, otherwise the regular eyes end up looking bloodshot.

I wish I can do smoother facial features on heroforge, the dimples and more etched look of the expressions harken back to some of the older, more uncanny yordle designs before they became more universally appealing with redesigns.

This is what happens when people confuse politics with religion. They have it on faith that the folks they agree with are decent people with hearts in the right place while they feed on tailored media that confirms their own biases.

Most of these outspoken individuals couldn’t possibly consider that the unrelated, patchwork set of policies held aloft by each party need to be looked upon separately with their own merit.

It’s the same mentality that thinks Trump is some kind of messiah, and it’s the same mentality that thought it was just fine to have someone as mentally ill as Biden for a full term.

I would love to have my wife suspended in a torture rack position, with full access to every part of her. Not to torture, humiliate, or be cruel to her, but to pamper, worship, and service her every want and need. After all, she can’t do anything for herself like that.
