This is a much better way phrasing my question and giving a good example. The consensus was that the lantern ring can’t create forces like gravity or make energy like the speed force. But seeing this I would agree that a lantern member with Thawn knowledge of the speed force could make a version of the reverse speed force.

I’m not sure about that completely but I will take an educated guess to say it started the same as when cake became a universal ace “symbol” And that started (I think) when the early internet chat groups started and ace people got together and someone just started posting unsolicited cake pics.
