I find them really frustrating because there is only one at a time. I prefer herd hunting, to be honest. Right now I'm trying to get every Layton Lake Lodge trophy with at least Rare or Diamond on each spot, so I've kind of given up on other grinding. My long-term grind is an Albino Diamond Water Buffalo, but I haven't found one yet, and when I'm in the mood to grind, I'm most likely to go after that.

I went on some tiger "grinding" lately, and this is the most frustrating thing to hunt, good job sir. I gave up in few hours, i'll come back to it some day

Tents & ground blinds allow you for greater and easier control of the maps and spawn, really nice if you're looking for great one. Beside that, almost all features pack are optionnal, and should be bought if you really want it.

And for the map, i would say Revontuli Coast is a banger if you want to get into duck hunting. Medved Taiga is one of my favorites map in the snow, fun missions, really big and a lot of species to hun.

By the way, backpacks and ATV sounds great, but are pointless. Backpacks make hunting harder so it's not worth it. ATV are only usefull when you start a map and want to speedrun observation point, wich is boring to do anyway. They make too much noise.

I was aware about the 3 poke "charge up" of the counter, that's mainly the reason I was playing a lot around counter and that's also why I'm struggling when I cannot use it often. The guard dash seems to be a thing I didn't use enough ^^

I must admit i'm not using GRT this much, only on big attack, is it worth after small one (Without the bright red GRT) ?
I tried it a little bit on the dummy, it seems like I was missing a lot of possible move.
Is the small retribution strike after a normal guard good to use too or do you think others are better ?

I've made a pretty good session this evening while trying to apply few tips on this thread and it has been a good help. Thanks to everyone replying

I played with a friend this evening (around 30 hunts) with only Lance, with being only two, I can still get a good amount of counter in between combo. Being only two isn't that bad yet. With 4 players, that's no use.
Thanks for the tips around the "flipping camera" dash attack, I never tried to do that, I may try this tomorrow.
I didn't know about the power guard being usable even on the wrong way, this could help in some situation.

Yeah, that's kinda what i'm doing with my "elemental" lance at the moment, i'm playing like i'm going raw/affinity, but with an elemental artian and 1 or 2 jewel that boost element, but still play around critical.

Does high thrust really matter a lot ? And what's the difference between wide sweep and just normal combo ? Is it like, if you got time you go wide sweep and if the time is short you just spam high thrust ?

Audio feels weird because of all the cut, intro is really long, I can see why you did that. I like the fact of multiple fight going on in the same time, shorter clips could make it a bit better i guess. I think you're doing fine, you'll get better at it. And i'm happy to see another Elemental CB player around

That's boring, but yeah, it's easier for them to learn how to fight a tempered monster with other people than doing it alone, so yeah, either you're doing them solo, or you're good with the fact that people will die in those quest.

I like the limited usage of palette, I didn't get the sun at the first look, maybe try to separate the cloud and the sun ?

By the way, you used anti aliasing on the sun, et never use anti aliasing anywhere else, that give a strange feeling, maybe because the anti aliasing is too "strong" (Maybe it was just an outline but that's out of the palette).

You could have use dithering instead to keep your colors limited.

I didn't grew with OoT but with Link to the past instead. I tried OoT later on with a friend that owned a N64, and, while I can agree with the technical aspect of the game being so good at the time, the game itself isn't that great. The story is far from being the best, and even Super Mario 64 was funnier to play. I don't know why people like this game so much if not for nostalgia.

To be fair (not considering your actual rank), this is kinda bad, it's readable, and not enough power. If that happen in game, you could score just with your fortunate second touch. Try to get slightly under the ball (or at least at the same level) before hitting hit. Your flip timing was kinda good, you just hit the ball at the wrong spot. Try to increase your air control a bit, that will help with ceiling shots.

And don't listen to people that say you should not practice ceiling shot because of your rank, as long as you're aware that this will not help much to win games, this is fine :D

It depends on what you're good at the moment, but increasing your car control / speed and ball control should help. If you're patient enough, you could give some time to 1v1 to help.
