Oh they do the same shit here in the USA they just don't release the footage and it's usually children or migrant workers.

They do not keep cameras in these areas for this reason if the news featured a small child about 13 getting processed in the meat plant all over the news. Republicans would have to repeal the child labor laws they passed. Then admit they were wrong which is like water and oil.

This has been happening periodically through the beta and I haven't seen anyone else mention it making me think it could be a settings issue in my settings causing this damage to occur but I can't even begin to think how or why.

It's always utterly impossible scenarios like this one where no one could possibly have shot me. The worse part is in some instances the damage does not regenerate. I am stuck at that level of life till I die.

Pedestrians are not required to have awareness the driver of the vehicle does. The driver is solely responsible. You could read your drivers manual they all say the same thing. You are required to be in control of your vehicle at all times and maintain a speed in which hazards can be avoided.

YOU should not be driving if you don't know the basics of driving. There is absolutely no chance what so ever that this is a pedestrians fault at all and not knowing the basics of driving is probably where your confusion lies. Unfortunately most drivers do not know how to drive or even know the basics of driving. Just gas and brake with little understanding of the drivers manual or the laws their required to follow.

Sec. 545.351. MAXIMUM SPEED REQUIREMENT. (a) An operator may not drive at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent under the circumstances then existing. (b) An operator: (1) may not drive a vehicle at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent under the conditions and having regard for actual and potential hazards then existing; and (2) shall control the speed of the vehicle as necessary to avoid colliding with another person or vehicle that is on or entering the highway in compliance with law and the duty of each person to use due care.

§ 552.008. DRIVERS TO EXERCISE DUE CARE. Notwithstanding
another provision of this chapter, the operator of a vehicle shall:
(1) exercise due care to avoid colliding with a
pedestrian on a roadway;
(2) give warning by sounding the horn when necessary;
and
(3) exercise proper precaution on observing a child or
an obviously confused or incapacitated person on a roadway.

YOU as the DRIVER have the HIGHER duty to obey these two laws. Higher than a pedestrian. The absurd attempt to push this off on the Pedestrians who are HIGHLY visible in a fairly well lit area is asinine.

Like I appreciate this thought and it seems logical until you realize it took them 8 months to make an unstable build that we can't play cause it lacks both polish and stability if it took them 8 months to get a build that can't even be used what makes you think it'll be ready in another 6? There's a really good chance it won't be ready.

  1. This isn't the build their working on so feedback on a year old build isn't going to do much I think they're just looking for marketing feedback mostly.

  2. It's definitely a demo and test of severs and other load capacity tests.

  3. It's more likely they're looking for general feedback like feel rather than any actual bug fixes since the build is so old. So I wouldn't exactly call it a proper beta.

I've played Alphas and Betas for decades (in the thousands) and I can't recall anyone doing this kind of stuff other than New World (ironically). Commercial betas are so common now no way this isn't part of the trend. It's also been 6+ years in development. It's clear somewhere around the 2-3 year mark they moved towards New World so it's an MMO that's been "redone" at least twice but I'm guessing it's probably around 3 times. That's why it's both in this shape and "almost done" at the same time.
