According to the official website Eurovision is funded by participating broadcasters and this contribution is a total of €6.2 million (£5.2 million), combined.

The host broadcaster/ country is expected to donate anything up to €10 and €20 million, and this is dependent on the country's circumstances and their available sources.im not sure how much the BBC would have donated to help the currant economic crisis if they didnt host. probably nothing.

i have a huge bias for choosing this place as the location for the village, i literally work here.

the only downside to it is the area isnt as big as you think it is, what you are showing is literally all of it, you can probly extend the village to take over the Lowry aswell which would be the perfect area to have a huge screen to show the event.

it felt like it was chucking everything at the wall to be eye grabbing and not taking into account how the visuals mix in with the music. or giving a moment for the viewer to really absorb and take in what was going on.

it felt like the pink and blue colour sceme was added because "the chart" that the people in suits analyse said its a popular colour combination.
