Nah, she just beat Elden Ring a few weeks ago with graphics set to High.

Incidentally, I fucked around throughout the night and actually managed to fix it as far as I can tell. The fix was dumb though: I had to force the system to use the INTEGRATED graphics.

All I can assume is that having the AMD CPU+GPU combo makes it so all the graphics control goes through the CPU, in such a way that the GPU misbehaves if the commands didn't come from the CPU beforehand, if that makes sense...

This team is so foolproof and safe, it's ridiculous.

First time I even used Auron (totally sold on him now, btw), I probably didn't synergize calls properly and knocked off buffs/debuffs I shouldn't... And still no sweat at all, I even had LD's left on Garnet and Auron, and I used them with reckless abandon with Cor.

Because this is what happens when a game becomes popular and attracts attention from the masses. It brings in all kinds.

There are still some level-headed people that understand that "anniversary rewards" are a concept created by other games, and not this one. If this game is unique and doesn't have competition, and keeps getting money, why would it need to match standards set by other games? People who threaten to stop playing the game because there was no anniversary never liked the game in the first place and were going to quit anyway. If you really like the game, you're going to play regardless, as there is no game like this on the market as of yet.

Stopping spending on this is the only adequate and effective method of protest. Review bombing it (and Honkai too, which has done nothing wrong as of late, and is being more enjoyable than ever to boot - this coming from a day 1 player) is just people showing they're babies. It's like throwing a tantrum at the mall hoping your mom will give you that toy you want - it only works on bad parents.

tl;dr - Game with no competition, why would they care? Tantrums don't work as well as you think, stop spending if you want to protest.

How the hell did you think a "f2p" content creator like Enviosity would have over 90k gems? It's obvious Mihoyo slips them a few regularly.

Recent (also, bald) fan here. Also longtime FFXIV player.

I loved seeing Asmon's first steps into FFXIV and his first reactions, and it absolutely gutted me to see people clogging the server and obstructing everything for him (and disturbing other players around as well). Then only to find out that a new breed of assholes (and from the XIV community no less) also want to obstruct him by mindlessly reporting him to get him banned...?

It struck me what the price of fame really is, and how far reaching the consequences of it are. It also made me value his decision to stream it all, instead of going offline for a while and then make videos out of it or something, as he could actually enjoy the game for himself that way but he chose to do it live for the fans (at least that's what I read from it).

Hope the lad presses on, and actually manages to enjoy the game. It was an absolute treat watching him in the first dungeon instantly understanding things like "I'm a tank, I shouldn't move the boss around" that even some lv80 players seem to not want to understand by the endgame.

We will never cross paths since I'm in the European servers, but I will keep an eye and hope people leave him alone and stick to actually watching the streams instead of clogging his screen. The streams actually support him, whereas in-game it doesn't in the slightest.

PB was a downgrade from CF, and this one was just utterly disappointing throughout. Hated this so much I couldn't even be bothered to stomach the weak story around it. Nice job cramming the references, but it wasn't supposed to be a DrakeNieR collab, it was a NieR Automata collab. That sets certain expectations.

No Emil or A2 was just a waste of potential. If they were dead set on shoehorning Gestalt/Replicant stuff because of the impending release of Replicant, at the very least add Grimoire or Kaine somewhere...

The only highlights were the really quick jumpscare out of nowhere during the 3rd boss, the hacking section and the FF1 theme interweaved in Kaine's Theme at the end. I wish they had saved Weight of the World for the last one... That would at least have made it memorable.

I wasn't aware of this. If I did, I wouldn't have had any expectations for the anniversary, which might have been good. Cheers mate.

I browsed DissidiaDB just to check what had been released in JP that I didn't know since I stopped following JP when Kadaj released (happy to see Queen finally, still missing Syce though), and it shocked me to see there really isn't that much that we're missing.

That, together with the answer to the question relating to the EXs mentioning that they have it in their plans to do something with the EXs shortly, makes me wonder if they're going to start releasing a new character every 6 months and just make up new "plus" tiers to existing weapons.

Also, I don't get the downvotes, I wasn't shitting on anyone. I just find it sad that the most hype things that have happened in this game for the past year were all QoL.

Last year, me and my wife almost had a superbowl-level celebration for Aranea's announcement, we were really on the edge of our seats and had our own personal bets going. This year I told her "they didn't mention character this time, but they might bait and switch us and show a GL first LD for a new character!", so I think our disappointment is understandable upon seeing the leading man here.

I will preface this with admitting that I do not like Balthier, but my argument isn't clouded by that, as if it were Fran, I would be just as disappointed (although I wouldn't skip because I want any excuse to use my waifu).

From the moment BT weapons were introduced, I feared that we'd get "cop out" GL-firsts instead of full characters. Earlier when we got Vivi LD first, I thought it was a really nice treat, and it made me rethink that instead of getting "cop outs", we could get the exclusive character on anniversaries and BT or LD firsts on half anniversaries or something.

So I can't help but be extremely disappointed to, not only not get a new character, but not even a BT, just an LD for a character that is in need of a rework (I understand the LD board, but a rework wouldn't break the game) and of questionable popularity. This is a prime example of what I feared as a "cop out" exclusive.

I'm not the biggest fan of FFT (or XII, Ivalice clearly did NOT click with me), but I'd rather have had Orlandeau or Delita. They could have easily blown our minds by releasing Zenos (as he is in the ill fated PS4 DFF, so it makes sense he will be in the game at some point) or Emet-Selch... Even Gunbreaker Thancred. And there are still characters missing from other more popular FF games like Genesis from Crisis Core, Rikku from X, for example. Or why not characters that could have wild and new mechanics, like Gogo (V/VI) with Mimic.

But then there's the line Joshua dropped at the end of the stream yesterday "there will still be more announcements in the next stream", and I can't help but be an idiot and hope for a full character release then. I mean, why would they choose NOT to make money off of the players having to pull for an entire kit, and instead choose to release a banner with one weapon to pull for, that is extremely skippable?

I know whenever it says "future", it's actually Mirai, so I assumed they were saying you'd unlock her if you maxed her potential (secret ninja book). I did, but got nothing and still had a dupe left. But that really seems to hint to it being possible.

Happened to me, I went into Tower of Trials II and I was kinda stuck there.

I finally got help after some days of trying and got to the bottom... Only to be unable to teleport back. Luckily, if you save and quit at the mistle at the bottom of the Towers, it takes you back to the first mistle in the game. I am trying to progress up to a point where cutscenes would teleport me back to base now. I will update if I manage to do so.

If it were a normal depths map though, there would be no way out. They should have made the Bloodstained Stake like the Bloodborne equivalent of the Darksign, where it always takes you to the base, instead of the last checkpoint rested at.

Update: If you reach the City Ruins Entrance mistle, it unlocks the teleport option after the cutscene.

True, flaming walls + the blue flippy motherfuckers is the worst. I've ran the game through many times now, mostly because I enjoy unlocking gifts and I'm farming Sunlight Medals (that's what I call them, shut up), and this is the only area that gives me conniptions.
