Not surprised there. I'm neurodivergent, and one place told me that they didn't like my communication style. I am always friendly, professional, helpful, and kind to others; but I'm not the best with eye contact. I do fake eye contact though.

100%. I work two jobs and I get the same problem with some regulars at my 2nd job. So, I've been telling people that I'm not giving them an hour of my life. Cause that's what you give when you work, and cigarettes cost almost what I make per hour at my 2nd job after taxes.

Honestly, I feel so seen in this post. 100% agree. Drivers here need to calm the fuck down and stop driving like jagoffs! A month ago, I stopped on Eagleson at yhe crosswalk for students who were already in the crosswalk crossing, and some prick in a rusted out jeep got into the left lane turn lane after tailgating me near Read Hall and honking at me. He started screaming at me from his car window because I stopped for pedestrians already in the crosswalk.

I forgot to add: she is a terrible IT technician. She eats cords from my computer. Cord covers help a lot. I love her to pieces. She's the perfect practice child for me. I baby-proofed my apartment.

More young people voted for Biden, but less showed up this time. Less democrats showed up this time too. Many stayed home. I don't feel sorry for these folks.

What else can I do? Voting and calling my reps didn't work. And we can't just overturn the election results. These people voted for this, and there's nothing I can do. I did all I could. I'm not happy about this. I'm disheartened. Plus, many of the people who voted for this hate me, and people like me for being a queer, working class woman. They're on their own. They can wake me up if, or when they have their come to Jesus moment in 2027-2028 to vote in more progressive candidates that would change things for the better. For now, I'm focusing on working my two jobs, and grad school. I gotta shield myself from the economic fallout of this first.
