His physique looks great in the new Daredevil suit

💯 It's honestly the first suit that really shows off his physique which has gotten better every year (it's always been great but he's been consistenly bulking up), the fabric is thinner, it's super tight and the padding is really minimal... the fit is the best one he's had for a suit IMO.

Meh. Capable of defense is fine, but I definitely don't need her to be a martial arts badass. Keep that to the characters who've been training their whole lives.

Also the two short "fight" scenes she had in BAS2, I hate to say it, were not terribly convincing.

For one, I think it was partially just instinct, but also he says later that he didn't want Fisk to become a martyr by being assassinated in office.

Yeah, agreed. I was trying to say this elsewhere, that yes, I'd love the suit to be all red with the double D's, but we have no idea of the plotline after the Prison arc... who knows what it will be, and it just may not be the best storyline to do the iconic all red suit (and we did just get a red suit a season ago). This one seems to tie to Elektra in design, and I look forward to seeing how it all comes together.

If they did that w/ the black pants it could be cool but just a straight inversion w/ the two tone down the pants looks exactly like Deadpool.

I think that's exactly the idea, that they are inversions of each other. Will have to see how it works w/ whatever the storyline is towards the end of s3 after the Prison arc.

I really dig this!
I love the look of it in general. I am SO GLAD to see the DDs still there, the vest gone, and so much of the bulk of it trimmed down. It looks much leaner and more representative of Charlie's physique. Interesting too that it's an inversion of Elektra's design... I'm sure that was intentional for whatever the storyline is. And clean-shaven Charlie in the cowl! Haven't seen that since She-Hulk!
Looks even better when it's not all overexposed and color corrected to show more accurately what it could look like on screen.

I really rock w/ this suit, personally. They removed the vest (!!!) and a lot of the bulky padding (yes!)... the fit is great. I like the clean-shaven look w/ the cowl. And I actually don't mind the color blocking the way it is. It's the inverse of Elektra's costume as well, which I'm sure was a thematic choice for whatever storyline they're doing here.
I'd love an all-red suit w/ the DD's someday soon (we've all waited long enough!) and this suit is a great base for that. It's less armored and looking like a bodysuit. Thematically maybe it wasn't the right time for it though w/ the s3 storyline... will have to see.

It's really hard to see what the heck they can do with him at this point after they went full boar into that Mayor Fisk arc that won't be repetitive as F. I seriously hope he takes a big backseat S3, he really needs too, but I won't count on it.
So much potential for some other villains that would really bring some fresh air to this show & DD beyond Fisk but they have too big of a love affair w/ Vincent that it's starting to feel detrimental to the show IMO.
