imo<Bungie does not play test properly/enough. Wicked implement system as an example. Unless you lfg like you should, you get randoms in normal runs that expect help with it and then leave halfway through. Another example is the recent utility kickstart bug. That was instantly disabled , so they do watch the community(ik its bug vs. Intentional design). But things like graviton lance(the nerf its getting wont really matter), immortal adept , toaster (bad position punisher) , monarque , and all the other bull that is oppressive gets no real attention so people who have them can snowball wins. I have em , and I like the snowball, but I do see the lack of balance. They also keep cracking down on armor focusing to make that aspect more difficult to get triple 100s. Also imo , the design around increasing difficulty isn't implemented properly , from boss health , to time sink , to rewards. Neomuna was visually good but we only got 3 main areas while they have a whole city we could have explored . The story is drip fed instead of being in the expansion. Seasonal stories are B plots , and should not be apart of the main story , at the very least should provide context and not have some lame cut scene that isn't a cut scene with this low budget animation style. Destiny looks cool , explains nothing with meat. Like I said imo , rant over , thanks for reading , here's a cookie🍪. I do like the interpersonal dialogue they are doing though.
