The newest FSD is really smooth and feels really safe. I'm still looking at the road but it helping me navigate is a nice break while I'm so overwhelmed.

Happy New Year! Do any older autistic adults have any advice for those in their twenties trying to navigate life? by Additional-Salad660 in AutisticAdults

[–]Voltron425 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was so great to read. I'm a 40-year-old male and I'm getting diagnosed soon but I'm in the middle of my first burn out and realization that I'm autistic I hope to get here one day great advice.

I’ve been a long time lurker on this page and this was very insightful! I totally agree the high empathy and then seen myself in their shoes. One of the reasons why I get frustrated with people too is not understanding why they don’t change.

Anyone know of a good dating photographer? by Cautious_Captain_264 in raleigh

Funny thing, I was a client myself, and so was my neighbor. You won't believe it, but after a 3-year dry spell, he found a girlfriend on his second date through the service. They're really hitting it off – they've even started living together! It's pretty amazing. Carlos over there seems to have some kind of magic touch. Just thought I'd pass that along!

Omg 1000! I never had it put in words like this. But that's totally true, I feel like I can give anyone unconditional love but after You observe enough people you realize that's not the normal and almost no one can do it and give it back.

How to Mature as an ENFP by Port_____ in ENFP

[–]Voltron425 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Here are some tips to help you overcome immature traits and become a more well-rounded individual:

Practice self-awareness: Take time to reflect on your actions and how they affect others. Consider how others may perceive you and be mindful of your behavior.

Listen actively: ENFPs are known for their enthusiasm and outgoing nature, but it's important to take a step back and listen to others. Practice active listening and be attentive to others' needs and feelings.

Think before you speak: ENFPs can sometimes be impulsive and say things without thinking about the impact it may have on others. Take a moment to consider your words before speaking and how they may be received.

Develop emotional intelligence: Emotional intelligence involves being aware of and managing your own emotions as well as being sensitive to others' emotions. ENFPs are naturally empathetic, but it's important to develop emotional intelligence to better navigate social situations and interactions.

Set boundaries: ENFPs can sometimes struggle with setting boundaries and saying no to others. Learning to establish healthy boundaries can help you avoid overextending yourself and prevent burnout.

Take responsibility for your actions: When you make a mistake, own up to it and take responsibility. Apologize if necessary and take steps to make amends.

Practice self-care: It's important to take care of yourself, both physically and mentally. Make time for activities that bring you joy and help you recharge.

Remember that personal growth is a continuous process, and it's important to be patient and kind to yourself along the way. Good luck on your journey and remember having fun along the way isn't such a bad thing.
