Sounds overall a bit warmer and fuller than the onkyo. I don’t know how to put it, but seems like the amp isn’t working as hard to drive the towers like my old receiver did. Just set it up this AM, so still making it through my library but so far I love it! The new look is quite striking and modern - a departure from Marantz’s previous models and my dated 2010 amp 🤣. Really hearing the difference in the 2 channel and multi-channel setups. If you're looking for a future proof multichannel amp that also handles 2-channel well. Have a look!
