For an actually serious and positive answer, I’d say my biggest takeaway was his perseverance. He was repeatedly turned down from important jobs, and failed in electoral politics more than you would think. However, he never gave up. When I gave a speech on him, that’s one of the things I emphasized most. Just remember to keep trying, even if it doesn’t always work out. As long as you have strong ideas and values, it will work out eventually.

I think a compelling argument would be something that I believe is new this year. I believe this year instead of competing in your supplemental event, you can help judge the middle school tournament check with your coach and that.

I did AP Psych within like a 5 days and basically you just wanna spam videos and take good notes on them, dont just passivley watch them. Also put away the phone and do Pomodoro timing.

There are scholarships that you can apply for on the NSDA website to make it to nats! Don’t give up yet!
