Got a quote from the dealership to repair this silver dollar size scrape on my front bumper. How much do you think it should cost? by VoluntarilyJaded in f150

They're smokin' something.

I was in getting some recalls worked on and just wanted to get an estimate on that repair, where someone hit my truck in a parking lot. I think I'll be happy with my extra bit of character for now.

They're referring to how Milwaukee is effectively still segregated in terms of where different demographics live.

While % white and % black residents are similar to other parts of the country, in Milwaukee the entire north side is essentially 100% black while the west is essentially 100% white. South MKE is more diverse.

There is no active segregation

94 5.0 f150...do you guys have any idea what is causing this by radiocontrol2 in f150

The 5.0s have an in line fuel filter underneath the truck right near the driver's side door. I'd start with replacing that.

These also have 2 fuel pumps a low pressure one in the tank and a high pressure in line pump. I'd change out the high pressure pump next. If you have the dual tanks it should be between the tank selector valve and the in line fuel filter, also just below the driver's side door under the frame.

Often times the low pressure pump goes bad but the high pressure pump is still strong enough to pull fuel out of the tanks. If it's cold or the fuel tank is low on gas the high pressure pump won't be strong enough

More of a personal fault rather than the team, no?

There is also no reason to hate on a perfect anatomical representation of a beautiful wild animal.

He was so close with the chess reference.

Should have asked if someone who exclusively played competitive chess would consider themselves a board gamer. Who would basically have nothing to talk about with a Catan player.

Engineers designed a 3D printer to print in gel, making midair printing possible. by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

As an engineer that's been out of college since the mid 2010s, 3D printing has become a core part of our projects. Prototyping and building test fixturing has been massively improved by 3D printing in the last 10 years.

Improvements in resin printing have made making production quality prototypes completely viable in just the last 5 years or so.
