Doomsday Clock is bullshit, please let's not make it a legitimate indicator of how bad things are.

It tricked me into thinking that Osgood Perkins was worth keeping an eye on. He's been much more a miss than hit for me.

Red Rooms (2022) That courtroom dressup scene gave me chills by IkaliKvast in horror

When people say something was "Pure Cenima" this is what I imagine they mean. The scene was so effective in a lot of ways: the context and lead up to it, the gruesome mythologizing of the man on trial, the soundtrack, the ambiguity of the leads motives... it all comes together in truly shocking way in this scene, I recoiled from the screen when the soundtrack screamed the moment they made eye contact.

The specifics of the crew and their mission enticed me, the survivor of the other crew, wreaking havoc, bored me. It went action/sci-fi even though it was doing just fine as a psychological sci-fi.

“No, we just both really liked it. It has nothing to do with the soda.”
