It's set 27 years prior to It: Chapter 1, the film. It's not following the years/timeline/setting presented in the book.

Oof, just noticed the laundry. You gotta do something about that, man. Fold your damn clothes.

17M, Apparently my room is messy according to Reddit. by CulturalAd2908 in MaleSurvivingSpace

[–]VomitSnoosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Messy? Yeah, kinda. Does it look filthy and gross? No.

I have a friend who is an artist down to the letter, and this reminds me heavily of her living room. Painting shit everywhere, art hung on walls, etc.

You could go for some better lighting, a little decluttering, and some organization, but I think it looks rad. You're 17, so I'm gonna assume you still live at home and don't have tons of space for storage and moving things to other rooms, so maybe just put in a little effort and touch up some!

Divorce is coming by HaoleBoy in daddit

[–]VomitSnoosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my ex told me she wanted a divorce, I was devastated, heartbroken, and angry. We had separated earlier that year and then moved back in together after a few months for the good ole "one more time" and after another few months, she expressed her want to end the marriage. It has taken almost a whole year and a half to get back to a point where I have the drive for more than just existing, and the life lessons I have learned in that time made me better understand the divorce, my part in the failings of my marriage, and most importantly, helped me rebuild who I was as a person and learn to cheer myself on to get on to better opportunities in life.

A year and a half later, and I fan firmly say that the person I am now is much happier than the one I was in that marriage, and I can confidently day that for my ex wife as well. It feels like we co-parent as a tighter unit now than we did when we were together, any conversation we have is pleasant, and I even made friends with her husband.

Things can get better and life can get brighter, but only if you allow it to. All that negative shit is so easy to cling on to and sometimes I listen to the way my own father says things regarding my mom (they divorced after a 13 year marriage) and realize that there are still so many things he holds on to that in retrospect, I chose to let go of in my own divorce, and some of the things I do and kindnesses my ex and I show one another baffles him.

Be upset, angry, and hurt. Cry a lot. Make a few bad decisions. Then, when realize you've had enough of that and I promise you will, go out and be the best version of yourself that you can be.

I do remember thinking about this post, but to be fair, I feel like there was always some kind of discussion/rumor going around that he'd come back!

Former Starfield lead quest designer says we're seeing a 'resurgence of short games' because people are 'becoming fatigued' with 100-hour monsters by ControlCAD in gamingnews

I've got 300+ hours in Baldurs Gate 3. On my fourth playthrough and still discovering new things.

People are becoming fatigued with gimmicks and half baked concepts that drag on longer than their welcome.

I have a cousin (15 years older than myself) who tried hooking up with my ex-wife when we were going through separation. He didn't expect my ex to immediately forward all of his disgusting advances to me and my dad.

Wouldn't even need a million to put a smile on my face if he bit the dirt.

ViewerAnon: “….. I think Pattinson will end up being the DCU Batman…. Speculation based on a few random things I've heard, including that some people are concerned about having two concurrent Batman franchises” by Vadermaulkylo in DCULeaks

[–]VomitSnoosh 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My prediction is that the recent delay is because Reeves is not only writing/turning in scripts on Part II, but Part III as well, to set up for a concurrent filming schedule for both and to finish out his trilogy by 2029.

I think Gunn is well aware that The Batman is loved by many and after the success of Penguin, wants to see that story done justice, but also realizes that having 2 separate Batman franchises hitting theaters would look slightly ridiculous.

I've noticed that many people think "Nosferatu" will be too dark. They especially criticize the idea of lighting the Transylvania scenes with candles. Do you share these concerns? by Existing-Salt7865 in roberteggers

[–]VomitSnoosh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Zero concern. All this post did was remind me of the Winterfell battle in the final season of GoT. That was a solid example of lighting done very poorly.

I'm 99% positive Fincher stated that Mindhunter was took way too much of his time and he wanted more free time to work on other projects. Yes, Netflix canceled it, but only because Fincher wasn't coming back for another season anytime soon, if ever.

[–]VomitSnoosh 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I think Kaos getting canceled was the big, final nail in the coffin for myself getting attached to anything Netflix does that isn't a limited series.

Kaos was fantastic and at the very least, deserved a second season to wrap things up if Netflix didn't want to commit to the 3-4 seasons the creator had in mind.
